Today on our 2015 Ford Transit T-350, we'll be showing you how to install the WeatherTech mud flaps for your front tires, part number WT110051. Now, here on our passenger side, we already have our front mud flap in place. This is a no-drill quick application, and you won't have to remove your tires to install it either. The mud flaps are made from a high quality thermoplastic resin. The WeatherTech flaps secure with a quick turn stainless steel fastener. To start off with our install, we want to make sure we have the correct mud flap. The driver's side is labeled "LH" on the back, and the passenger side is labeled "RH." We want to make sure our tire is rotated all the way towards the left. We're going to make sure that our quick turn fastener's all the way towards the right, or the unlocked position.
We're going to set our mud flap in place. We can then take our included Allen tool and start to tighten that down. Now that we've got this tightened down, we'll add our screw and nut to give a more secure fit to our mud flaps. Now, we'll insert our screw into this hole here. There is a hole already there through the mud flap, and there's also one on the vehicle where the manufacturer has put it. We'll start by taking a 7/16ths wrench and our nut and place it just inside.
We're going to take out nut here and we're going to slide it in so that it lines up with this hole here so we can tighten down our bolt. Now once we have that lined up, we're going to take your screw and stick it through the holes and start to thread it in. Once we have that tightened down with our hands, we'll take a Phillips-Head screwdriver . See here to use a stubby version of it, and tighten it down even further. That's going to complete our install of the WeatherTech mud flaps for your front tires, part number WT110051 on our 2015 Ford Transit T-350.
