Just wasted $500! I purchased the correct part # for my 2026 Silverado dually, then I travelled 1,000 miles over 3 days and it melted. I do have the exhaust cut out and heat shield. This was the first use and Etrailer won't do anything but give me the manufacturer contact information. Even if Agri-Cover would replace the melted flap, why would the second one be any more resilient? Just give me my money back.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience Brian. We're really sorry to hear this happened, especially on the very first trip. After 1,000 miles on the road, I can understand why you'd be frustrated. The Rockstar is designed to work with the factory exhaust and heat shield, so it definitely shouldn't be melting under normal conditions. Since you mentioned your truck has the exhaust cutout and heat shield. Have you made any exhaust modifications or was the flap making contact with the exhaust at any point during your trip?

All was as I expected the curt hitch the hitch leggs to convert the hitch and the rockstar rockguard commercial grade was everything as needed.my goal was to only buy items needed one time. Feel these items will last long time. Thanks e trailer team for your help selecting the items
