Today, we're going to take a look at the Furrion Marine Power Cord Adapter. Now, this is going to be an adaptor for our shore power attachment for our boat. If we're running a 30 amp extension cord to the boat, but it doesn't have the right plug on it, we can use this to get everything plugged up. We'll have our male plug that connects to that 30 amp extension cord. You can find those available here at etrailer.com, if you need one. And then the other end is a 125/250 volt 50-amp power. So, you'll be able to get those two connected together.
Our female end does have the collar going over it, so we can get this connected. Has the threaded portion there, so we can get everything tightened down, if that works for our system. It has a power smart LED indicator, to let you know when it's active. That's going to be on the top here. We'll have a little blue light that comes on to let you know that it's working, or that we have power.
Same thing on the other side if you plug that one in.Has a little strap keeper, so you can tidy up the cord a little bit, keep it more compact. Then for our female end, we do have this little plug that can come up, and attach in there to keep that protected from the elements when we're not using it. You do need to move that little ring up a little further on the plug to get it in place, so we'll be able to protect that. It's made of heavy-duty marine grade construction, so it'll be able to withstand our marine environment. It's weather proof.
Universal fit with all other brands. Has a nice highly-visible yellow color, and it comes with this bag to store our cable in, to keep it even more protected. Again, we'll have our amperage for the female end is 50 amps, male will go to 30. The voltage for this is 125 or 250 volts, and the cable type is 410 STW and it does come with a five year warranty from Furrion.Put our cable back in its keeper, wrap that back up, and then store it inside our bag. The bag measures about 13 inches long by about six and a half inches tall, and at the widest point of the bag it's about four and a half inches deep.
The cord is about 20 inches long, whenever it's fully stretched out. That's going to do it for our look at the Furrion Marine Power Cord Adapter.
