Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the MOLLE Panel for Kuat Ibex Truck Bed Racks on a 2023 Jeep Gladiator

Hi, this is Scott with etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at our Narrow Molle Panel for our 2023 Jeep Gladiator. It does install into our Kuat IBEX Truck Bed System. And with that install it is this single panel that we installed on this one today. To get the best use out of it, you're probably gonna want two of them. So we may wanna look at two of them. That's gonna allow you to mount your shovel or recovery boards or anything like that you may need.

This is gonna be nice because it's gonna still allow you to have access to the back of your bed. Say you've got your campus stuff back there, and you need to grab something out, whereas your full panel is gonna take up the whole side where you're not gonna be able to reach into the back. This Molle Panel does have a really nice powder coat finish on it. It's gonna have your different slots in it for a different mounting positions. Like your normal slots here would be good for like your bags or your mounts for your shovels and whatever.

And these probably you can have for a universal mount system for bolts and nuts, maybe a wing nut type system. Straps can go through these. It is gonna be pretty durable. It is gonna have a little bit of flex in it from in and outplay, but most of the weight that you do put on this is gonna be an up and down type weight. They will install in the IBEX track system here, and that will allow you to slide it back and forth.

You just undo these four nuts here, and it'll loosen up and you can slide 'em, and put 'em where you want 'em. And with that, let's go into the installation. We'll show you how we got this one installed. This is everything you're gonna be getting in your Molle Panel kit. We have your panel here, and the tapered side is gonna be going down to the bottom of your rack.

You also have your little nuts and sliders that will fit inside of the track, and your Allen wrench. Let's bring it on over and get it installed. On your Kuat IBEX Rack System, it's gonna have your channels on the inside here, and your access points are gonna be either from the front or the very back. As you can see, we've already got this back one installed, so we're gonna get one installed in the front. These are gonna slide in your rack on the end here, and they'll just slide in. These you'll have, you can see, you'll have slots here where it's gonna fit, and it'll just slide right in. When you're installing these, you can slide them in with your bolts attached, and then just pull 'em out to position your rack. You can get one started on the bottom, usually is the best. One in the top. And that hold your panel in place so you can line up, and get your other mounting locations lined up. Once you have your bolts in loosely installed, your panel here will be able to slide back and forth while it's in the tracks before you tighten it all the way up so you can get your accessory, whatever you want. Like if you want your jack, you want a high lift jack, you can get your mounts lined up where you want 'em. Now can get everything lined up where you want it, then you can take your Allen wrench, and just go ahead and tighten up. (metal clanks) Snug down. (bolt tightening) (bolt tightening) After you have 'em all tightened up, that's gonna do it for our install. I like this panel system on the Kuat IBEX. It really adds versatility, adds some more mounting options to it, but also retains the ability to use your Gladiator as a bit like a bed of a truck.
