Today, we're going to be taking a look at the CE Smith Frame Straps. Frame straps are designed to be used with U-bolts to secure accessories to your trailer frame. These particular frame straps are designed to fit 2 inch frames. They're made from a corrosion resistant galvanized steel. It's very strong and durable. It's going to be great for marine use or any application that's exposed to moisture.
With this part number you're going to get 2 frame straps, so both of these straps that you see here on the table are going to be included. The parts are made right here in the USA. Just some measurements to go over with you real quick. If we take a measurement from the center of 1 hole to the center of the other, that's going to give a measurement of right around 2 1/2 inches. The overall length is going to be 4 inches long. The overall width is going to measure 1 1/4 inch.
The thickness of each strap is going to be 1/4 of an inch thick steel. The bolt hold diameters on the unit are going to measure 9/16 of an inch. These are designed to accept U-bolts with an inner width measurement of 2 1/8 of an inch. Those are sold separately and if you are need of some, you can find those right here at etrailer.com.
