Hello, neighbor, this is Curt with etrailer. And today we're gonna take a look at the load bars for your Thule Xscape ladder rack. Now, the load bars for the ladder rack are gonna come in two different sizes. You can get them in a 60-inch length, like we have here right now, or if you have a bigger truck bed, you could also get them in a 70-inch length. The dimensions are gonna be the same for both. They're gonna be 3 1/2 inches across and they're gonna be an inch and a half deep.
So if you have some clamp-mounted accessories that you have in mind for this ladder rack, double-check their clamps to make sure that they can go around those dimensions. And when it comes to T-track accessories, we have a weather strip going across the top of our T-track here. That is, I would say optional. You could opt to use it or not use it. If you're using a lot of T-track accessories though, you might be better off just taking it out and leaving it.
Otherwise you're gonna have to trim it into sections to maneuver it around the clamps or the the T-track attachments for those different pieces. But you can access it by simply peeling back that weather stripping. You can use the tool in this bolt right here to remove your end cap. And then you'll have full access to add any of your T-track accessories. And while you can use the T-track for load stops and other things to help tie down your cargo, the end caps of each of your bars are gonna have a space here to add a tie-down, or a bungee cord, or whatever you need to as well.
So that's a look at the load bars for your Thule Xscape ladder rack.
