Today we're going to be taking a look at the North Texas Mean Green Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover for 2 inch hitches from AMG. Hitch covers are a great way to show your school pride. They also add a clean finished look to your hitch. They help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. This is an officially licensed product. We're going to have the chrome plated metal emblem right here on the front, very stylish and durable. The unit's made from a steel construction, and it's going to feature a black powder coat finish to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion, as well as fading.
It's going to look great for a long time. Here on the back side, it's going to feature the foam gasket. That's going to prevent rattling between the hitch cover and the receiver tube of the hitch. To get it secured in your hitch, it will require a hitch pin and clip, or a hitch lock. Those items are sold separately. They're available here at etrailer.com.
It is required for installation. This pin hole will accept a standard 5/8 inch diameter pin. When installing it, it slides into a 2 inch by 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. You push it in until your pin holes line up with one another. Then secure it by installing a hitch pin and clip, or a hitch lock. When it comes to the dimensions, here at the front it's going to give us an overall width measurement of about 5 inches.
Overall height, that's going to measure about 3 1/2 inches. Then the distance that we have from the back here, to the center of that hitch pin hole is going to be about 2 1/2 inches. That's going to do it for today's look at the North Texas Mean Green Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover from AMG.
