Video Transcript for Feature Review Memphis 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Memphis two inch hitch hitch cover from AMG. This hitch cover is going to allow you to show your school pride, it's going to add a clean finished look to your hitch, and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The hitch cover is made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a black powder coat finish which is going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. Here at the front we're going to have a chrome plated metal emblem. It's going to feature a rust proof and fade proof design. The product is made right here in the USA.

On the back side it's going to have a foam gasket. It goes around the area that slides into the receiver tube of your hitch. That foam gasket is really going to help reduce rattle in between the hitch and the hitch cover. This is an officially licensed product. The hitch cover does require a hitch pin in clip or a hitch slot for complete installation. The pin holes on the hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8" diameter pin. A few measurements to go over with you real quick. Overall width here at the front face is going to measure about five inches. Overall height is going to measure about three and a half inches. The distance that we have from the back of that foam pad to the center of the hitch pin hole is going to measure about two and a half inches. Now, this is designed for a two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver. Very simple installation process, just slide it in to the receiver tube of your hitch, line up your pin holes, and secure it by installing a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock.
