Hello, neighbors. I'm Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking together at this B and W Anti-Rattle Clamp for your three inch by three inch hitch receivers. So folks, an anti-rattle device is going to keep your hitch mounted accessory from making all kinds of ungodly noises. It's gonna deter rattle, sway from side to side, all the jarring and balancing, and all those hard metal noises. It's gonna work great with ball mounts, tow bars, and even hitch mount accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers, things like that.
It is a really fast and simple, easy installation. You simply slide this clamp over your accessory shank, and then then insert the shank into the receiver. Now first you gotta put this little block here. You can see where my sticker is. It's a little bit thinner on that top part versus that bottom.
So I'm three inch guy. You want that thinner one on the top, and then this little guy here with the thread it, and it's got these little dog ears as I'm calling 'em on the side. Just slide that guy through it. That would go underneath the hitch tube. The set screw or set bolt here would be threaded in.
And then you could use your included Allen tool here to tighten it up on the bottom part of that hitch tube. So again, everything's pulled tight this way, and it's pushed up tight from the bottom, and that's creating a nice, solid, never going nowhere anti-rattle device here with this system. Now, it is a very durable plated-steel construction. All metallic. It's not gonna rust or corrode.
It is again only for a three inch by three inch hitch receiver tube. It is made here in the USA. One other thing to point out is that it is not, I repeat, not compatible with the tow and still ball mounts for MultiPro tailgates, reducer sleeves, or any kind of weight distribution hitch. Still does not allow the B&W stow hitch to stow all the way. You have to allow for it to hang lower than the default storage space. Would not recommend this product.
As always etrailer products never disap point
Highway runs, it's Excellent. Offroad, it tends to slip and you begin to feel that little lag. Over all I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

I installed this on my 2 1/2” ProPride hitch along with a set of Rock Tamer guards. It fits and reduces the up and down throw about 90%. A big improvement. I have not road tested it and I think it may not be heavy enough to withstand bending during long hauls. Time will tell.
Takes the rattle out an easy to install.
Wrong project was delivered
Great product so far
One of the few 3” hitch tighteners I was able to find at the time. It tightens by an Allen set screw so it’s different than most which use a u bolt. After using this I think u bolt is a better design. I have to keep an eye on it, it loosens up quite often. So it works – as long as I tighten it every time I hit the road.
Great product as always B&W makes great products….3 inch on my new ford sucks as all my other hitches were 2 inch…bless their hearts! But my 3 inch hitch has no rattle now!!!
I have a class 4 hitch and this didn't work. It was ordered to replace aprevious order for a 2 1/2" hitch that also didn't work. I modified the first unit to fit and now it works! Will be returning this unit.
This product did not really work. If you did not have anything on the trailer hitch, it might work. But, once you added a bike rack, or a hitch, the "anti-Rattle" clamp failed. I threw it away.
