Extensive Testing
InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. This locking pin has a shear strength of 45,000 lbs.
The InfiniteRule locking pin is used to secure your swivel hook or shackle to your bumper mount. This allows your InfiniteRule lock to be used for towing and off-road activities such as rock crawling, mudding, and recovery. The safe working load limit is 15,000 lbs.
The flush-style design prevents the lock from being broken or pried off your swivel hook or shackle. The heptagonal head provides an additional layer of theft deterrence by preventing a would-be thief from being able to grip the lock with pliers or a wrench.

I wish I saw or was told to get the correct length. I searched locking pins and found the ones that were for shackles and tow bars. After they arrived I found that they were longer than needed. Then I went back on your website and found the correct length (for blue ox 2-5/8). I called and was told that they would work the same and be safe. I’ll be trying them out in a few weeks.
