Video Transcript for Breaking Down the InfiniteRule Locking Pin for Swivel Hooks or Shackles

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the infinite rule, three inch locking pin. This locking pin is designed to replace the standard pin, for your swivel hook or shackle, so that you can secure that swivel hook or shack shackled to your bumper Mount. As you can see here, we do have two different options. You have your black and your stainless steel.

Both of these are going to have the same dimensions and weight capacities and everything. So I thought I'd show them together but they are sold individually. You can find them using the part numbers right underneath them there. So each one is going to have a pin diameter that is seven eights of an inch. So it's going to slide right into that bumper Mount and hook or shackle.

This is, overall length of about three and seven eighth's just under eight, a four inches and an opening there or a span inside pin length of three inches. Now that's important because these are designed specifically to work with your, diabolo shackles, hammer head, and swivel hooks, as well as the identity shackles, and because these are a, a precise fit it's going to make it much more difficult for would be thieves to come along and pry or cut these. And they're going to be nice and snug up against your shackles and bumper Mount. And you can see on our lock and this does have a nice tapered flush style head. It's also got a, pick proof screw and lock mechanism to help deter theft.

So rather than just doing like a half turn to unlock it which can easily be picked this you have to keep turning the key kind of unscrew it. So it's going to be a lot more secure for you and then just kind of push it together and start turning it again to get it locked in place. These are constructed of heavy duty materials are black. Here is constructed of an anodized aluminum and our stainless steel of course is constructed of stainless steel. So they're both going to be very durable.

They've been through rigorous testing to ensure the lock pin, can handle extreme towing and off-road activity to make sure that, they'll hold up to any of the uses that you want for those hooks and shackles. These do have a safe working load limit of 10,000 pounds and a sheer strength of 27,000 pounds. And so again, it's going to hold up well to any activity that you're wanting to do up to those weight capacities. Each one is going to have a corrosion resistant finish to it, to make them extremely durable and long lasting. You can see our weather resistant tethered, dust cap, is going to, cover over, our, lock, face, to ensure that water and debris all that stay out. So we don't have to worry about those getting in there and causing issues in our lock core. These are capable of being keyed alike. So you can just use one set of keys to handle all the the infinite rule locks that you have. You do get two keys with each locking pin. So even though they are, can be key to like you will still have individual locks, keys for the locks On the inside here, and if I undo this, you can see we do have an O-ring on the inside, That's going to help protect the internal components from dirt and grime once we have it all installed. So anything that might leak through that crack there is going to get stopped by that O-ring before it gets into our internal components of our lock core. These are both made here in the USA. So you can trust they're made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the U.S so if you're looking for a way to upgrade your standard pan on your swivel hook or shackle to something that's going to be a little bit more secure for you.
