If you don't want your adjustable hitch sliding around your truck bed, this mount gives it a place to ride between trips. It mounts in the corner and leaves your bed lighting, tie down anchors, and BoxLink cleats open for the rest of your gear.
You pull your adjustable hitch out of the receiver because you don't want it sticking out behind the truck when you're not using it. Now you're holding 40 or 50 pounds of steel with nowhere obvious to put it. It ends up buried under straps and tools or collecting dust in your garage until the next trip. The Hitcholder gives it a dedicated place in your truck bed, so every time the hitch comes off, it goes right back where it belongs. When it's time to tow again, you're not digging through the truck or trying to remember where you left it in the garage.
A heavy adjustable hitch doesn't tend to stay where you set it. Every stop, turn, and bump sends it sliding across your truck bed floor and into the sidewalls. The Hitcholder mounts directly to the factory BoxLink attachment points, giving your hitch a permanent storage location without drilling into the truck bed. It still leaves your other BoxLink cleats, bed lighting, and lower tie down anchors available, so you don't give up the features your truck already has. Once the hitch is in place, the included thumb screw helps reduce movement and rattle while you drive.
Note: Not compatible with Gen-Y hitches with built-in torsion, weight distribution hitches, or any drop hitches with a drop greater than 6".

Hi, everyone. I'm Evangeline right here at etrailer. And today we're taking our first look at the Hitcholder. This is a very convenient bracket that secures into your truck bed and stores either your gooseneck mounts when not in use, or you can even get versions that can carry your ball mount. Let's go take a look. This is available in different styles depending on your truck.
Since they are designed to work with your truck as an integrated system, they actually mount to the mounting points that you will already have in your truck bed. For example, this was the bracket that previously was there, and we saw immediately that we had the exact same mounting holes. So to find the right one for you, make sure to check out our product pages here at etrailer. You can always give us a call or ask us a question, just to confirm if we have the Hitcholder for your truck specifically. What we have set up is the gooseneck hitch storage system.
So if you have a puck system in your truck bed where you have a gooseneck hitch attachment, then this is a very convenient storage system for you. If you're packing this all up, maybe you forgot the box, so rather than having these roll around, you just drop them into your Hitcholder, and this is very conveniently now out of the way. Or you can do the exact same thing if you have a ball mount instead, where you then fit the ball mount into your storage system and there's actually a hitch pin holder that you will use with your own hitch pin and that keeps it out of the way. The main thing I included with this though is going to be your mounting hardware, but that's because you'll be using the hardware from your truck. The first thing you will do is you'll remove the older bracket here just so you can use these bolts for this specific truck, which is a 2025 Ford F-450.
We are using a T30 Torx wrench and that's how we remove all four. With that old bracket removed, we're now able to fit our new bracket on there, and I'm just going to reuse the bolts to secure this. On that note too, I have seen some people fit their old bracket over this new one if they want to continue using that attachment point. Here though, I'm just going to focus on installing our new piece only. Tighten down these bolts now until our bracket is snug, and that's it.
Quick and easy switch over. Now we can get our other pieces from our hitch and store them there. After seeing the Hitcholder, I'm very impressed. It is very useful, especially for holding the things you may use to tow when you're not towing. Now there's going to be a lot of different factors worth considering to make sure you get the best fit for you. For example, location of the Hitcholder. The owner of this truck requested that if he was to get the Hitcholder, he wanted it right by his tonneau cover because then this opens up his truck bed for the larger items he might be carrying. If you want it more accessible for you rather than going all the way over there, you can have this mounted closer to your tailgate. This is available in different sizes as well. For example, while we have our gooseneck hitch mounting system here, if you we inchesre to use the ball mount version instead, this is available in different sizes depending on your truck. Our truck has a three inch ball mount, so this matches perfectly with their ball mount. If you have a two and a half inch set or a two inch, you can find the Hitcholder to match. Hopefully this was helpful as a quick little first look at the Hitcholder, what it looks like, what it can carry, then you can find the different options right here at etrailer.
