The Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH34VR you were looking at is indeed confirmed to fit your 2021 BMW 340i sedan. I was able to confirm this with Stealth hitches.
This receiver is designed for carrying a bike rack or cargo carrier and cannot be used with a ball mount for towing a trailer.
If you will be planning on towing a trailer at some point you will need to pick up the Towing Kit # 391CONVA7. This comes with the tow bar portion designed for towing with this hitch, and also includes a 7-way connector.
