With a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and a tongue weight of 525 lbs, this hitch gives you the flexibility to tow small trailers, haul gear, or mount a bike rack or cargo carrier. The fully welded design bolts right onto the vehicle’s frame using existing holes—no welding needed. Precision, robotic welding ensures each mounting point lines up correctly for a secure fit that makes installation straightforward from start to finish.
Built from powder coated steel over a protective base layer, this hitch resists rust and corrosion from road debris and weather exposure. The gloss black finish keeps it looking clean while protecting the welds and frame attachment points. The round tube design gives it a tidy, finished appearance under the bumper without sacrificing strength or clearance.
This hitch is rated for towing and ready for multiple setups. Add a ball mount for pulling small trailers or hook up bike racks and cargo trays using the 2" x 2" receiver opening. I purchased a 2" receiver for our Fiat 500L to use for a bike rack so we do not have bikes above the roof making them hard to reach and in the wind. The reciever is solid, works well for our needs, plus was delivered quickly and was easy to install.
I am extremely pleased with the product. It fit perfectly. Excellent price. I had priced the same item at the Jeep dealership and it was over $500.00. I think I paid approx. $120.00 through etrailer. One year later it still looks brand new and it actually looks like the jeep came from the factory with it. I'm well pleased and highly recommend etrailer. After seeing mine one of my friends purchased one for his Fiat.

Fit and installed it exactly like the installation video on your website explain. The video doesn’t show all the details. I was very nice to have the wire pulls To position the bolts and spacers. That part took a little extra finesse but was necessary and it worked out well. The trailer hitch receiver and the plug and play wiring made installation much easier.
This is the second time I have dealt with etrailer and the experience was the same as the first. A well executed ordering process, helpful product research materials, knowledgable service and a competitive price seem to be hallmarks of this company. Curt makes a great hitch.
Purchased hitch for my 2016 Fiat 500x was a bit Leary as the car was a new model for Fiat and I only had the car for 6months purchased 2weeks after the dealer got it. The hitch was a little tricky to fit. Had to grind time holes bigger to fit the bolts. Had to bend the arms a bit as they were compressed together to that they would not fit oround the frame. I put the install at a medium difficulty as it was not bolt and go. Otherwise the hitch has performed perfect no issues towing 3000lbs or my 300lb racing cart. Lighting kit for the 500x was also purchased and the was a real breeze to install.

It fits! I was worried it wouldn't. The installation instructions are a bit to be desired. With a little help, I installed the hitch, and I'm very happy with the results.
The hitch protruded from the original box. Paint is scraped up.
Received the Trailer Hitch perfectly on time and without scratches or any other problems. I did not try to install it myself; I took it to have it professionally installed by one of Curt's Certified dealers and they did a great job. I have been using it to transport my bicycles with a 2" Yakima Hitch Bike Rack. Totally recommend it!

Great price, free and fast shipping. Will look here first for my trailer needs.
Fairly easy install. I used a smaller dremel. I do not recommend using a smaller dremel. If you have a proper die-grinder and a good bit, anyone can install this in under an hour.
