I want am going to buy a trailer hitch for my 2016 Fiat 500X and also need the wiring but I am not sure what I need,

We can get you everything you need for your 2016 Fiat 500X. For a trailer hitch I recommend the Curt # C13271.
The Curt hitch has a maximum tongue weight of 525 lbs and max towing capacity of 3,500 lbs though you would need to make sure you do not exceed the weight capacities listed in your Fiat's owner's manual.
For wiring you need the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236.
