Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the four and a half inch-long spring keeper bolt for heavy-duty axles. This is a half-inch diameter spring retainer bolt. It's used to mount slipper springs inside the rear hanger. Basically, the slipper spring will slide into the hanger and rest on this bolt. Now there is a lock nut that's required. We do sell that separately, and it is listed on our website under this product as a related part.
It's part number 12N-Z. Now this bolt is designed for use on 10,000 pound, 12,000 pound, and 15,000 pound heavy-duty axles.A few specs on this bolt. It is a grade 2 bolt. The diameter again is half-inch diameter. It's 20 threads per inch, and a few measurements on this.
The length, which is measured from under the head to the very end of the bolt is four and a half inches in length. The threaded section is one and a quarter inches.But that should do it for the review on the four and a half inch-long spring keeper bolt for heavy-duty axles.
