I ordered this at the same time as the hitch (which I purchased with a 2-5/16" ball).

This thing is great, and it comes with a nylock nut which is a huge bonus.

I can not give a honest answer because I was sent incorrect ball. It was no bigger than my thump. If I tried to install it it would just slide though mounting hole.
