Hey everybody, Jared at etrailer.com. Today I wanna take a look at the 23 inch Taylor Made steel gas shock. Now, this is a replacement for one worn or damaged ball and socket gas strut for your boat's hatch wood or your compartment door. The annealed steel and corrosive resistant coating are great for both freshwater and saltwater environments. If we take a look at the shock itself, we can see the cylinder, which houses the guide seal and the piston, and the piston rod, which compresses into the cylinder. On the outside here, we have a 10 millimeter ball socket and those connect to the 10 millimeter ball stud.
If we consider the overall length measuring from the center of the top socket to the center of the bottom socket, it measures at 23 inches. Now this does extend, to ease the lifting of your hatch wood and it compressed at a compression force of 60 pounds to gently close your hatch without slamming. And again, this product is a replacement for the 23 inch gas shock. Other options and sizes are available at etrailer.com. Thank you for taking a look at the 23 inch Taylor Made steel gas shock.
I'm Jared with etrailer.com. You have a good one..
