Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over the WeatherTech Custom Fit Front Floor Mats here on a 2020 Toyota Tundra. So this is what our floor mat is gonna look like installed, and if you ask me, WeatherTech floor mats definitely look the best out of all the other options, because they are a very custom like fit. They actually use a program that uses lasers to map out the interior foot well here, and then they mold the plastic to that exact specification, so you get a very tight custom like fit with no movement whatsoever. So, with these WeatherTech mats, you're also gonna get more coverage. Most standard floor mats just cover the bottom part here, whereas you can see, the WeatherTech one, they have ridges all the way around, we actually cover part of the threshold over here by the door that go up much higher here, even on this panel here, which is a common kick panel, so we have some protection there, and if you follow that all the way around, you'll see we just have a nice raised ridge on here, so that's gonna do a great job of adding extra protection, and it's also gonna keep all those dirty contaminants such as water and mud here in the mat, so it doesn't get flung on your carpet. So the grooves in our floor mat here, these just do a great job of helping provide more traction just like the seeps that you have in your car's tire.
It's gonna give a way for all that mud, dirt, and water to sorta channel out from there, that way, you get a nice grippy surface, you don't have to worry about slipping or falling on. So, in regards to the construction of our mats here, they're made of a plastic, but they do have a nice rubber coating there, which is gonna do a great job of helping provide that extra grip. And these also, as we said earlier, in regards to this, the aesthetics of the mat, they definitely hold their shape over time due to that material construction here, so they're gonna stay the same shape here as they we're when they're new as they will five years down the road. So these floor mats here do have a manufacturer's lifetime warranty, so you don't have to worry about anything going wrong, and they are made right here in the USA, so you know you're getting a quality product. Now, in regards to installation, because they are custom fit, this is very simple, we can show you how to do this now.
So the first step of your installation, you wanna grab one of your two floor mats here, doesn't matter which side you start with, we're gonna be starting over here on the passenger's side, therefore, we're gonna be grabbing the passenger's side floor mat. So what we wanna do is, in your kit here, you're gonna get these two little spiky pegs. So there's actually gonna be two keepers underneath that that you just simply press these into, so these are only used over here on the passenger's side. So they are kinda hard to seed in there, you could use some sort of tool to press them down or you can just use your thumb, but basically, it's just a little ball and socket joint and you just press those in one on either end. And then we're gonna come in our vehicle here and you're gonna remove any floor mats or any floor coverings that you have in there, and once that's done, if you choose to, you could sweep out the floor there, make sure there's no dirt underneath, but now, we're ready to install the mat.
So as you'll see here, they just drop right into place, they're gonna fit in there perfectly, and you don't have to do any additional fastening or securing. So now that we have the passenger's side secured, let's go ahead and jump over to the driver's side, so we can show you how to install that one. So on the driver's side floor mat, this is what it looks like. You'll notice we have two little cutouts here on the bottom, so you don't have to worry about any of those spiky pegs, these are actually gonna secure to some twist knobs that are already in the floorboard, so we'll go ahead and set this mat into position. So it may help to move your seat back a little bit, depending on where you have it, but then we're just gonna line up these pegs on the bottom here with the cutouts there on the floor mat, and then once we do line those up, you're gonna twist them to lock them in place.
So yeah, it's kinda difficult there, you gotta press down on the outside ring and then you can get your fingers in there, pinch them to turn it. So we've got our front two floor mats installed, and that's pretty much it. But WeatherTech actually does offer a couple different options for this vehicle, they have one that goes into the back there, depending on if you have the Double or the CrewMax cab, and they also have one that goes in your bed as well. Couldn’t find floor mats to fit my 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 5500 anywhere. Floor mats aren’t even an option on Weathertech website but etrailer has them and they fit perfectly !!
Just wish they made a center hump mat for same vehicle
Really like the way they look and the coverage is excellent. The mats allow room for the seats to move forward for access to the third row seat, while allowing good coverage for the foot area in the second row seating.
I'd give them five stars except that the indentations on the mats for the floor posts that would keep the mat secure, don't align. The are about 3/4"off.
I ordered 2 sets of these mats 1 for a 2024 5500HD & 1 for a 2024 6500HD crew cab truck. The information on the website stated fitment for a single cab truck. I ordered them anyway and they fit perfectly which I was pretty sure there was not a difference in the single vs crew cab truck
As always etrailer was very quick to process my order and get my products to me in a timely manner. I did notice that the box these came in had a small puncture in the side. Luckily none of the products were damaged, but the delivery drivers would most likely be the ones to blame for the damage to the package. So far I’m impressed with these mats, they definitely do a good job at keeping mud and water from getting on the carpet, and even do a good job of keeping the dirt and dust to a minimum. I do wish somehow there was some sort of protection for the carpet between the seat and the door sill plate. This seems to be an area that is extremely difficult to keep the carpet dirt and dust free. Also, it would have been nice to see some more protection up the side of the transmission tunnel on the passenger side because passengers seem to like to put their muddy feet wherever they please, but even if it were covered they would still find some carpet to make dirty! Other than that, these are some very tough, rugged, well-fitting floor mats for my truck!
Drivers side fits perfect. Passenger side doesn't fit tight to the kick panel. I'll take a heat gun to the edge and get rid of the gap.

Mats fit my 2022 Sprinter Van perfectly. Am very happy with this product.
The fit is lacking quite a bit (like 3-5 inches off in places) also wish I didn’t get the one that covers the whole floor in one piece. I wish it was 3 pieces that snap together for easier cleaning because this design you end up dumping all the crud on the floor of the truck while trying to take the mat out to clean it.

Received the mats 6 days after ordering using the "free shipping "option. I feel this is reasonable and the tracking provided was accurate and up to date.
Now about the mats. I have owned many vehicles and have always tried to protect the interior and keep it as new looking as possible. I believe these mats will help me do that. In s word, they are great. They fit really well and the color match is spot on. The texture is non-slip and they are flexible enough that taking them in and out is a very easy. In short they are perfect for my vehicle and I would most certainly buy them again.

Fit perfect, wish they were a little bit higher on the door side, but much better than the Subaru all weather mats.
Great mats love the fit for the front. For the back, really wish the back seat mat covered the area under the seat on the 2014-2018 silverados. Keeping in mind my truck is old still glad they sell these at least!
I love the craftmanship, attention to detail, exact fitment for my vehicle, durability and the protection this product provides for my vehicle. I honestly don't see any downsides or things that could be improved. If they could personalize them some more maybe like if they had a Challenger R/T logo or if they offered some in two tone or maybe some sports teams. For my vehicle it solved two issues, it let me remove the original floormats which were in really good condition and save them for a possible future buyer all while giving next level protection from the elements to the interior carpet in my vehicle. These are perfect for anyone that has a vehicle and they want to protect their investment while making it look sharp at the same time..

Shipping was timely & packaging was adequate.
I like that the mat spans the whole length from seat to seat. Hopefully the plastic will relax and settle in a bit more near the gas pedal and the side of the truck. It sticks out an inch and a half or so towards the pedal which is not good. It’s seated in the clips on the floor, it’s just the plastic is floppy there in the worst spot to be floppy near the gas pedal. I’ll have to tape it to the truck or try the heat gun on it if it keeps sticking out.
The mats seem to be good quality. They state they will work with an under seat storage organizer. I am guessing they are referring to a stock organizer because the mats go underneath the aftermarket organizer I have. Also I had to use two sided tape to hold down the passenger side of the mat that sits under the rear door.
These floor mats are beautiful and fit perfectly in our motorhome.
Took about 45 minutes with a heatgun getting it to form to the truck, but with enough heat and a little help smoothing and molding it by hand, it’s a perfect fit; as close to a truly custom fit you’ll ever get. The mat is one single piece so it’s shipped folded in half, which is the cause of it being so malformed out of the box, hence the heat gun. However, there isn’t much of a way around shipping this product without folding it, otherwise it would probably cost more in shipping due to the size. Highly recommend, just don’t expect for it to fit perfectly out of the box without a little help. I doubt you’ll find anything better.
