Howdy, neighbors, Ian with etrailer here. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our 2019 Ford F-150 and the etrailer floor mats. Let's get into it. So these are gonna fit the contour of the floor. You'll see this goes all the way back and gives us a nice good lip to keep any debris or liquids or anything that might fall on the mats themselves into the floorboards. They also have this nice overhang that's gonna be longer than your factory mats.
This is just gonna kind of help with the situation of anything coming into the vehicle as you're getting up loaded into the seat. The other thing about the mats is you're going to find that since they are a nice rubberized mat, they're gonna lay a lot flatter than some of the stamped mats that you'll find. The harder plastics are gonna roll over time and with these rubberized mats, they're gonna lay nice and flat for you and not have that problem. And here on the driver's side, you're gonna see there is a bit more of the mat itself going back towards the pedals. That's just gonna allow for any debris coming off your feet while you're working the pedals to come back down to the main area instead of going on the carpet back towards the firewall.
Does have this nice spot for the footrest as well, keeping any debris off the carpet and sides there. Do have the same extension that I showed you on the other side. Again, when you're hopping in and out, that's gonna catch all those extra little pieces of rock or dirt or sand that's coming off your feet. Has these great anchor points that are factory anchor points just to keep everything in place getting in and out of the vehicle. Here with our back mats, you're gonna see this does extend all the way underneath the seat.
Some of the mat options we have are just gonna be in front of the seats. So this is great to be able to put your cargo and everything that you would wanna store under the seats, and keep those carpets under there nice and safe. They are held together as a two piece fashion with these little puzzle piece connectors. They just slide right into each other nice and easy. That way it's easier to take out two pieces of a mat opposed to one.
It's gonna make that cleaning process a little bit easier. Did wanna mention, as far as the rubberized mats, it's super easy to get dust and debris off of these. Even just a wet rag will wipe everything right away. Also is gonna have these nice lips and edges all the way around that are gonna catch any debris coming off your feet when it's snowing or maybe raining. Or maybe you've got kids back here and they've spilled the juice. These are gonna catch that. But you are gonna find that there's no type of stop between the mats themselves, so it may go down between the mats. So just something to keep in mind. And one more thing before we go. I did wanna mention, as far as these etrailer mats, they do come as a complete set of just the front or just the back. You're gonna find a lot of the other options are going to be set as two separate purchases. So this will make it to where you're only putting one thing in your cart and you've got all of the positions in your vehicle covered. And that'll conclude our look at the 2019 Ford F-150. Don't spend your money on OEM all-weather mats. My 2024 RAV4 came with the all-weather mats which are nice but do not give the protection especially around the gas pedal area that I wanted for the winter slush. Basically no lip in this area allowing the melted slush to pour out when stopping. These etrailer mats are made of the same thickness and quality TPE (rubberized) material as the OEM but have a lip around the gas pedal area keeping the melted slush from pouring out. These mats fit as well if not better than OEM, front and rear, and have better overall protection. I would buy again!
What I love about the product is how easy they are to clean and how much area they take up in the vehicle they fit perfectly and have been good through the summer and winter months. Only slight improvement would be possibly on the left side of the brake pedal. There’s an indent in the floor. You could possibly have that so that it sits more flush with the floorboard. It makes it 10 times faster to clean as you can just pull out spray it down dry it and you’re good to go. These are great for anybody who works in hard labor jobs, and often have dirty boots or shoes from work anybody who has children that spill in the backseat or even possibly dogs or animals makes it all 10 times easier to clean.
So happy with my purchase especially for the price. The quality is great and the fit is fantastic. It’s my second purchase with etrailer and I definitely recommend them to the world
