Hi everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the full set of etrailer floor mats on our 2016 Ford F-150. These are a custom fit mat, so it's really easy to just pop these in and they'll lay down pretty flat, match all the contours of our vehicle like you can see around the floorboard corners here. And it's gonna make it really easy just to know which side is which. But like I said before, this is a full set.
So obviously passenger side front, driver's side front, but also a full mat for the rear. Now the driver side mat is gonna see the most use, especially if you're often the only one driving. So if you wanna check out a couple things, you get pretty good coverage under the pedals. Okay, on the gas pedal there and really good on the brake. Plenty of space on the dead pedal area for your non-driving foot to rest.
The front driver will use factory anchor points. Just click down into place and the overhang on the side is going to help with water runoff leading it outside the cabin of the vehicle. And here's what the back floor mat looks like. You're gonna get full coverage here. Obviously I've got a car seat in my way over here, but plenty of coverage for the feet where they'd be naturally resting and it goes well underneath those back seats.
The ones over by you are folded up so you can see that a bit better. And this is a two piece mat, so right in the middle you'll see a small seam where we have these sort of puzzle piece shapes that interlock together and hold the whole thing as one unit. Now having that small gap there, if you've got kiddos back here and there's a bit of a snack spill or a drink, that might be a point where, especially water or something, could seep in underneath that and get to the carpet underneath. But all throughout you've got these raised channels, everything kind of directs out to the edges and raised side rails. So if you do have some spills, hopefully it should be mostly contained unless it falls right here in the middle.
Now obviously these mats are not going to be immune to dirt, dust, and debris from getting on them, but they're really easy to clean because it's a more rubberized material. You can spray 'em down at the hose if you really need to, or just wipe it with a damp cloth to get some of those dirty boot prints off of there. But they should clean fairly easily. And because they're a more rubberized material, they tend to lay a bit more flat and not curl up as much like some of the more thermoplastic, rigid mats might be. WeatherTech makes that sort of style and a lot of people like 'em, but I've not had the best experience with them personally getting in and out of the vehicle, especially on these edges that overhang the threshold. The more your foot catches that, the more it's gonna curl. And this more rubberized mat, we'll want to lay back down flat rather than stay curled over time. But when it comes to choosing any floor mats for your F-150, I really do think custom fit mats is the way to go because you're gonna get the best coverage, especially compared to those factory carpet mats. And they're gonna be far easier to clean if they're this rubber all-weather material. And the reason I really like the etrailer ones is because they're a bit more rubberized, but also the fact that you get the full set, you don't have to go and add a separate thing to your cart just to protect the back seat, where messes might be a bit more common if you've got kiddos back there. So for me, the full set is the way to go and it's gonna be a really solid fit on the back of our 2016 Ford F-150. Thanks for watching.

the mats fit my 2014 Jeep like a glove. Look good and are made of heavy duty material.
Don't spend your money on OEM all-weather mats. My 2024 RAV4 came with the all-weather mats which are nice but do not give the protection especially around the gas pedal area that I wanted for the winter slush. Basically no lip in this area allowing the melted slush to pour out when stopping. These etrailer mats are made of the same thickness and quality TPE (rubberized) material as the OEM but have a lip around the gas pedal area keeping the melted slush from pouring out. These mats fit as well if not better than OEM, front and rear, and have better overall protection. I would buy again!
What I love about the product is how easy they are to clean and how much area they take up in the vehicle they fit perfectly and have been good through the summer and winter months. Only slight improvement would be possibly on the left side of the brake pedal. There’s an indent in the floor. You could possibly have that so that it sits more flush with the floorboard. It makes it 10 times faster to clean as you can just pull out spray it down dry it and you’re good to go. These are great for anybody who works in hard labor jobs, and often have dirty boots or shoes from work anybody who has children that spill in the backseat or even possibly dogs or animals makes it all 10 times easier to clean.
So happy with my purchase especially for the price. The quality is great and the fit is fantastic. It’s my second purchase with etrailer and I definitely recommend them to the world
