Video Transcript for Install: WeatherTech HP Front Auto Floor Mats on a 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe

What's going on everybody, I'm here with etrailer. Today, we are going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech 3D Custom Floor Mats. We have it on a 2020 Tahoe right now, obviously a custom fit. It is going to have these ridges that come up on the sides to prevent any spills or anything from actually getting to your carpet. That is going to be all the way around here, too. We have a decent amount of extra material over here, as you guys can see.

So, a lot of the water's going to stay down here but then where our feet are most of the time, we're going to have a little bit of extra material to just protect the floor mat from wearing down over time. It is made of a rubberized thermoplastic, which I like this material better compared to some of the other more slick floor mats.Just because they get a little slippery, especially after you guys clean them. Which is something I don't necessarily love, just because getting in and out of the truck, whatever you guys have, it's going to be a little bit more hazardous to have it nice and slick. So you guys spill stuff, you don't have to worry about it going under your carpets. And also with this little ridge here, you don't have to worry about it coming out.

But if it does come out, we do have the floor mat come out and over this little trim piece here, so it's not going to really fall into the cracks here. And trust me, that is kind of difficult to clean because you got to pop these things up. So, it thinks of that. And the nice thing about it is, we do have these little pins here, which are going to snap into the plastic pieces here.And that's just going to be what comes with your car from the factory and they're going to match that pretty nicely. We do have some little pegs here, which are going to grip onto that carpet, too, so they're not going to slide around.

But even if we didn't have those down there, we are going to get no movement pretty much just based on the shape here. And these are going to come in a couple different colors. You see black here. We just went with the black just because it goes better with the interior color of our Tahoe here but whatever car you guys have and whatever color the interior is, pick accordingly. It does come with a driver's side floor mat but it's also going to come with another one on the other side.

So, you're going to get two with the kit, driver and passenger side.All pretty much have the same exact features that we went over but just to show you, we actually do have a little bit taller piece here. That'll go back for you guys who are a little bit taller. You guys can stretch your legs out and pretty much be nice and comfy and not have to worry about getting the carpet all gross. Take care of your vehicle, grab some floor mats. And I do think that the WeatherTech 3D Floor Mats are going to be a great fit for you guys. And if it does get dirty and muddy and stuff, just pull it out, hose it off, bring it back in. It'll take four to five minutes to clean your car.
