Video Transcript for Feature Breakdown: Blazer Tall Profile Warning Beacon

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at these Emergency LED Lights from Blazer. These are gonna be a quick and temporary solution if you need to have a flashing light on the top of your service truck or your utility vehicle, any sort of truck that you might be doing maybe some maintenance in your neighborhood, or as a tow truck or a plow. This is gonna help give you a light to improve your visibility for other drivers and pedestrians if you're stationary on the side of the road. Let's check it out.

Now, we're gonna be looking at two today in this video. Both are gonna be very similar. They have the same lighting functions and function the same way, sticking to the roof with a magnet, and plugging into 12 volt power on your vehicle. The only difference really is the height. The tall profile and the standard profile one here are just gonna be different heights.

So if you've got a taller truck, a larger one, I think the taller light is going to be the better option, just 'cause it's more visible with these taller roofs. And then for a smaller truck, the standard profile might be a better fit. But they will both function the same way. One, the shorter one that is, is going to be three in three eighths of an inch tall. And the taller one's gonna be four and 15 sixteenths of an inch tall.

So you can go to your own truck and see how that kind of stacks up with your own roof. Now, these two aren't the only ones that Blazer offers or that we carry here at etrailer. These two just happen to be almost identical, aside from the height. So if you need something that's a bit bigger, you can definitely find those here. If you need something that's a little bit more low profile, you can also find those.

They even make some that are heated. So if you're operating these in the winter, maybe with a plow, and you wanna prevent snow from building up on top of it as you're driving around, the ambient heat of those heated ones will help keep it melted. So there's tons of options available. You can find them all here at etrailer. Each one's gonna have their own pros and cons for different use cases, that you can probably find and see what fits your needs the best. But that's what these two are. They're just gonna be very similar. So all you're gotta do to get it set up is take your light, stick it to the roof wherever you want to. Both of them have 12 foot cables that are all coiled up for easier storage, but stretched out, they can reach up to the front seat in our larger truck here. I'm just choosing to feed ours through the door, because the cords are small enough that they'll fit around the weather strip, and you can just shut the door around them and plug them into 12 volt power inside. Inside, it'll plug into that 12 volt power. And there's two switches. The one closest to you guys is the power switch. When I flip it up, that red LED will illuminate, letting us know that the light is on. And then on the left is the mode selector. So every time I press this button, it will change the mode. There's gonna be nine in total. So three patterns that are exclusively a white LED, three that are an amber, and then three that are a combination. So this is what we'll use to cycle between them. So here's a quick rundown of the different patterns. We've got our slow flashing amber, the quick flashing amber, and the spinning amber light. When I hit it again, it'll go to the white LEDs. This time just mimicking the same patterns. Slow flashing, quick flashing, and spinning. And then the final three are the combination where it'll show both white and amber LEDs for all the same patterns as before. And then it just cycles through the beginning. As far as the build quality goes, I think these are really well constructed. The polycarbonate lens is very thick and durable. It's going to keep it impact resistant, and it doesn't feel like any of the pieces are loosely fit together, which is nice. It does have an IP-67 rating, which means if it's out in the rain or in dusty conditions, we're not gonna have to worry about any intrusion going down the road. So we can trust that this will stay operational and clean on the inside. One thing I will say about the construction is, on the bottom, the magnet just has this small sticker that's preventing metal-on-metal contact with the roof. The sticker doesn't feel great quality, and it's already peeling on the edges a little bit. So you might notice over time that it comes up. Kind of just the nature of this being a non-permanent solution, where it can easily be taken on and off. I think that will just be a weak point, but you could easily put some electrical tape over it and keep your roof protected. But I do think these are gonna be a really nice option if you don't want something permanent. They're quick to set up and quick to tear down. So if you don't need it on the roof of your vehicle all the time, it'll be just fine. You can keep it under the seat, or even in the glove box, depending on how much room you have in there with your other stuff. But they're quick to set up. So if you just need a way to get a quick light for your service or utility vehicle that you don't need all the time, these can definitely fit the bill. Like I said before, there's a ton of different styles for different use cases. So be sure to check out our other videos and other product pages to see which one's gonna be the right fit for you and your vehicle. But that will do it for our look at these Standard and Tall Profile Emergency LEDs from Blazer. Thanks for watching.
