Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the CargoSmart J-Hook. The J-style storage hook snaps into an E-Track or X-Track system, so you can hang cargo inside your trailer or wherever you have your tracking mounted. The nice round shape is perfect for hanging PVC or other tubing, but this can also just be used as a standard storage hook. If you have anything with a loop on it, or kind of like a top mounted anchor slot that would fit over this, it would work just fine for those applications as well.Now, one of the neat features about this is once it's installed in the E-Track and when it's not in use, you can lift it up and rotate it to either side. That way it's completely out of the way, so you're going to save space, but also it's going to prevent snagging. Gives you more walking room, and keeps the hook to the side so that way there's less chance of it snagging onto something else and maybe causing just issues, hassle, or potential damage.
We have the spring loaded fitting here on the back that snaps into an E-Track or X-Track anchor point. It can be easily moved from one E-Track or X-Track slot to another. I do have a piece of X-Track here today just to show you how it engages, and then we can also swing it away. Really easy. Snaps right in to the anchor slot, and then when you're ready to swing it away just lift up on it and rotate it to the side.
You can see there how it's completely out of the way when not in use.The overall depth with it in the in-use position, when mounted on a track system is around 6 3/8" to the outermost point. The inner width, or the usable loading space, it would be 4 1/2", but because of this collar that's on it, it actually reduces that opening. It's about 4 3/8". It does feature a safe working load limit of 200 pounds, and again, it's made from a durable construction with a zinc plated finish to resist rust and corrosion.
