Easily add a 4-way trailer connector to your vehicle with this custom wiring harness. The T-One connector plugs into existing wiring for a simple setup. The ModuLite ensures reliable operation while protecting your vehicles electrical system.
The vehicles wiring harness is often behind a trim panel or under the cargo floor. Some vehicles may require removing interior panels or lifting carpeted sections to reach it, but once accessed, the harness installs easily with quick-splice connectors.
The ModuLite isolates your cars electrical system from the trailer, preventing overloads and ensuring smooth, reliable operation.
The 4-way connector is designed to be mounted near the hitch using a bracket (sold separately) for easy access when towing.
A built-in dust cap keeps dirt and moisture out of the connector, ensuring a clean, solid connection every time you attach to your trailers wiring.
Includes 16-gauge power wire, fuse, quick-splice connectors, and all necessary hardware for installation.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this T-One vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector. Now this harness has been designed to fit your 2024 and newer Buick Encore GX with the LED taillights, and on custom fit parts such as this wiring harness, I do recommend taking advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our Fit Guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. So this harness is going to give you this four-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer signal lights.
So this will also be compatible with 5, 6, and 7-pole adapters. Those adapters are sold separately. And something that I really like about Takonsha's T-One wiring harnesses, they're my favorite by the way, but one of the things I really like is they do have a dust cap that's actually tethered to the plug, so you're not going to lose that dust cap. Obviously that dust cap is going to keep those connection points clean when it's not in use, from dirt, debris, moisture, things like that. So this wiring harness is designed to make installing a trailer wiring system on your vehicle simple, safe, and reliable.
You're not gonna have to worry about cutting or splicing. This does use the OEM style connectors that are gonna plug directly into your vehicle's existing wiring, preserving the factory wiring and warranty. And so this harness is tailored to fit your specific make and model, and it's going to ensure a seamless connection. This also includes this ModuLite powered converter. This is going to protect your vehicle's electrical system.
The converter module isolates your vehicle's sensitive wiring from potential overloads or shorts from trailers, and it's gonna draw power directly from your vehicle's battery, not the taillights. So this is gonna help prevent blown fuses or damage to expensive onboard electronics. Especially important for more modern vehicles with complex electrical systems. This will help maintain the signal integrity for consistent trailer lighting performance. So if you plan to tow a trailer, use a bike rack with lights, or a cargo carrier, this harness is going to give you a professional grade setup with minimal effort and maximum reliability.
Instructions are going to be included to guide you through the installation process. You are also going to get a little hardware kit here with a fuse holder, a 15 amp fuse, butt connectors, and cable ties to secure any slack in wiring, plus a self-tapping screw so you can get the ground wire into place. And additional wiring as well to run to your battery. So everything that you're gonna need to get this fitted into place. Now, it is also recommended that you use a small amount of dielectric grease on all of your electrical connections, like the plugs on your vehicle and the 4-pole flat connector itself. That grease is designed to help prevent electrical failures caused by corrosion and moisture. So if you would like to take a look at that, you can use that model number that you see there on your screen, pop it into the search field on our website. That will take you to that grease and you can add that to your order if you so desire. If you do pick this up and you get it installed, we would love to hear your experience with it, especially regarding the installation and the operation. So when you get this into place, share your experiences with us either by leaving a comment or a review on this product page. Let us know how everything worked out for you. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
