The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector plugs right into existing factory connectors, so you can get a working 4-way setup without splicing or guessing at wire colors. It’s a simple plug-and-lead design that keeps your wiring clean and reliable.
This harness gives you a standard 4-flat connector for running lights, turn signals, and brake lights. It’s the basic connection most light-duty trailers use, whether you’re pulling a small utility trailer or a boat trailer. The connector sits right where you need it and is ready to plug straight into your trailer wiring.

Today we'll be taking a look at part number C55356. This is the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with the four pull flat trailer connector. This product is going to fit certain years of the Jeep TJ, Jeep YJ, and Jeep Wrangler. It's going to provide your four way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer signal lights. It is compatible with five pull, six pull, and seven pull adapters, the adapters are sold separately and it's going to come with a dust cap for the four way flat connector. That way you can keep those connection points protected when the plug is not in use.
A benefit of a system like this is that it is designed to connect quickly and easily. You don't have to worry about cutting or splicing any of your wires. All you have to do is locate the connection points behind the rear bumper and plug in your T-Connectors. The side with the green wire is going to go to the passenger side, yellow and brown wire side is going to go to the drivers side of the vehicle. The plugs are going to match up perfectly with the plugs on the vehicle. They're going to connect together and then snap-lock into place for a nice, tight, secure fit.
Once you have those connected, you can go ahead and make your ground connection. That's going to be the white wire with the ring terminal attached to it. You can make the ground to a nice, clean, metal surface using the included self-tapping screw. Then you can secure your excess wires with the included zip-ties and just keep them up and out of the way. Once your installation is complete, the four way connector is going to be stowed beneath your vehicle near the trailer hitch.
You can loop it around the safety chain loop or you can use a mounting bracket, that's going to be recommended and sold separately, and that's going to help keep the connector secure and it's also recommended that you use a small amount of dielectric grease on all your electrical connections like the plugs on the vehicle and the four pull connector itself to help prevent corrosion. If you don't have any of that dielectric grease, you can find some here on our website. It's going to be sold separately. It's also going to come with your detailed instructions.
