Note: Do not use for overhead lifting. This load binder is designed to work as part of a complete tie-down system. The overall capacity depends on the safe working load limit (WLL) of the chain(s) that you choose, as well as the capacity of the load binder itself. The item being tied down must not exceed the combined WLL of the lowest-rated components in the system.

Hello, neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Durabilt Ratcheting Chain Binder for compactor or specialty use with eye fittings on the ends, rated at 13,000 pounds. So, folks, if you've ever used one of these, the concept's pretty simple. You can ratchet this down, and then you can simply flip the lever and ratchet the other way as needed. And the eyes on here, on this particular guy, they have eyes. They can spin out, and normally what you would do is you would spin these out quite a ways, at least halfway or so, make your connections, and then as you're tightening this guy, these are staying in place and they're spinning until they get tight, thus tightening down your load at a safe way.
Now, they can be used to tighten and secure container doors. It has a nice, sturdy handle. It's gonna provide a nice grip to operate the ratchet. Once again, that ratcheting mechanism can be flipped, you can push it over to do the opposite ratcheting. (ratchet clicking) And flip it back to go the other way.
So, very simple operation. It is a forged, powder-coated material. It's gonna resist corrosion. It's nice, very visible red color. It meets FMCSA 40, CHP, CVSA, WSTDA and DOT standards.
The safe work and load limit, again, is 13,000 pounds, and the take-up position tensions the chains to secure your cargo, just like I was mentioning before. So, it's a very nice, heavy-duty forged ratchet chain binder. Again, if you've used these before, you already know how good they work. The concept, there's not much more to go over, honestly. Just remember, be safe, as always, when you're tying down loads and stuff, and watch what you're doing.
Folks, I'm Steven, that's gonna wrap it up. Thanks for watching.
