The HappiJac tie-downs distribute the weight of your camper across the truck's bed to keep the ride comfortable and the camper secure. Holding the camper taut at all four corners - as opposed to securing it on top of the bed rails, like a typical bed-mounted system - helps to reduce any front-to-back shifting of your camper during travel. It's designed to make the camper an integrated part of your truck, instead of a heavy load perched on top of it.
When you're not using them, these tie-downs won't create an eyesore or a hazard. The 2 front braces mount to your truck's cross frame under the bed, staying completely out of sight. The front anchors attach to the braces through the bed wall, while the rear anchors install on the rear bumper. Small and chrome-plated, these anchor points are pretty subtle. The couplers remove from the anchors with a quick quarter-turn so they can blend in.

Better handling and more secure than pocket stake system. Only downside is drilling holes in exterior truck body, not a problem for me and blends in pretty well.
Fairly easy installation, drilling a few holes was the hardest part. Good instructions. Looks sturdy.
They work great and looked good the first summer. I will need to take them off an wire wheel the rust off of them this summer. Minnesota winters.

I had ordered the wrong Brophy tie-down because I entered the wrong year of my truck and didn't notice. After all of that Emily and her coworkers got my order out the door and on my front porch in an unbelievers 22hrs instead of 72hrs . I don't what you folks did so I give you many thanks abd 10 stars out of 10.

The pieces attached and work as they should. The only complaint I have is that the chrome begin rusting almost immediately. In northern Minnesota and in fact all over northwest United States they use salt on the roads. So Thickness or composition of this chrome seems to be susceptible to a lot of rust in this part of the US.
