A solid mount means a steady ride. These rear tie-downs bolt directly to your truck’s frame—the strongest part of the vehicle—so your camper stays planted mile after mile. By spreading the load evenly and keeping the center of gravity low, you avoid the top-heavy sway that can throw handling off in crosswinds or on rough highways. The setup keeps your truck driving naturally, even when you’re fully loaded for a long trip.
These tie-downs attach to pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling and no cutting required. The bolt-on design keeps your frame integrity intact while giving you a snug, precise fit. That means a cleaner install with minimal loss of ground clearance—important when you’re traveling off-pavement or through uneven terrain.
When you’re not hauling your camper, you can pull the tie-down arms from the brackets and hardly notice anything’s there. The brackets sit tucked under the truck body for a nearly invisible look. It’s a simple way to keep your truck’s appearance sharp while still being ready for the next trip.

Built from black powder-coated steel, these tie-downs are made to resist corrosion and hold up over years of road spray and weather. Whether it’s long highway runs or rough backroad travel, that durable finish helps protect against rust and keeps the hardware looking good after heavy use.
Each arm includes two pin holes so you can extend them just far enough to clear fenders or sidewalls and line up your turnbuckles for the right angle. This flexibility helps get a tight, stable connection that keeps the camper from shifting or sliding as you drive.

Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at TorkLift's line of Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs. This is for the rear. You'll want to check etrailer.com's fit guide to verify which ones are going to work with your vehicle. They're also available for the front. So, you can get a matching set custom made for your application. These custom mounted brackets are going to provide an easy attachment point to hook up your camper. What's additionally great about those is that they have the removable ends, so when you're not using it, they'll be hidden away and your vehicle will look like factory. The custom mounted brackets we're engineered to provide you with the best location for your tie-down point, to evenly distribute the load. So once they're attached and adjusted, this'll keep your camper from being too top heavy. This will increase the overall ride quality while your camper's attached and the safety. The attachment points are removable and adjustable.
There'll be two loops here where you can make your connection to your camper and there's two holes here to adjust the length of how far your attachment point sticks out.You can use either hole. So if you have very wide camper, you can use that first hole, or if your camper is tucked in nicer, you can use the second hole. The included pin will slide through the hole and keep it in place. It's made of a durable powder coated steel, so it's going to be extra strong and rigid, to keep your camper tied down nice and snug and the powder coat is going to prevent any rust and corrosion from occurring. When you're ready to hook up to your new connection point, take your turnbuckles and attach them to your camper. Now, if you need some turnbuckles, you can pick some up here on our website. You'll hook it in to your camper and you'll also hook it in down here on your new attachment point. Then, depending on your style of turnbuckle, you'll want to tighten it down.
Ours is a twist adjustment type. There are many different styles. And now with both sides in place, we'll repeat that same process in the front.Compared to Stake Pocket, or bumper-mounted camper tie-downs, frame-mounted tie-downs will provide better handling. They also mount out of sight, so they will be undetectable when not in use, giving your truck a cleaner look.Because the custom fit brackets secure tight against your trucks frame, there is no loss of ground clearance; and that completes our look at TorkLift's line of Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for the rear.

These tie downs are sill working as advertised. I have travelled over 20,000 mi with them in various conditions with about 10 of that time in dirt roads or 4wd roads. Nothing too crazy, but with my camper and these tied downs I am confident that the camper will remain attached and be secure. It hardly moves around at all. They are worth the money and I can still remember how easily they installedvery welll thought out design and installation!

Product is working great , what is fantastic is the engineering for the fit to the vehicle and the tools they give you to fish and hold bolts where they need to be during installation. Great thought process for instruction for installation.

They are starting to rust significantly. That is very disappoint considering the very high cost of these. It is interesting that they dont allow pictures of the product for this update.

Thank you for your photo. Torklift does recommend to use the hitch adapter for the 2020 Ford F-250. The adapter does need to be turn horizontally to fit inside the hitch not vertically.

Bought these tie-downs a year ago and they have proven to be easy to use, very sturdy, and hold my Palomino to the truck bed tightly.
