When you’re driving long distances with a camper, stability is everything. These rear tie-downs mount directly to the truck’s frame—the strongest part of the vehicle—so the camper’s weight is evenly spread and the center of gravity stays low. That keeps your setup from feeling top-heavy or shifting in crosswinds, giving you a steady, predictable ride that feels just like driving without a camper.
You don’t have to sacrifice your truck’s appearance just because you haul a camper. The brackets sit nearly flush with the underside of the frame, and when you remove the arms, they’re barely visible. It’s the kind of setup that keeps your truck looking stock when the camper’s off, without bulky parts hanging down.

These tie-downs use pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling and no cutting or modifications required. The bolt-on design mounts tight to the frame with minimal loss of ground clearance, which makes them simple to install and easy to live with over time.
Made from black powder-coated steel, these tie-downs are built to hold up against corrosion, road grime, and harsh weather. The heavy-duty finish protects the metal from rust even after seasons of use on rough roads or in salty conditions.
Each tie-down arm has two pin holes so you can extend it for proper clearance around fenders or bed walls. Two anchor holes on the attachment plate let you fine-tune your turnbuckle angles for a tight, balanced hold that keeps your camper secure from every direction.

Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at TorkLift's line of Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs. This is for the rear. You'll want to check etrailer.com's fit guide to verify which ones are going to work with your vehicle. They're also available for the front. So, you can get a matching set custom made for your application. These custom mounted brackets are going to provide an easy attachment point to hook up your camper. What's additionally great about those is that they have the removable ends, so when you're not using it, they'll be hidden away and your vehicle will look like factory. The custom mounted brackets we're engineered to provide you with the best location for your tie-down point, to evenly distribute the load. So once they're attached and adjusted, this'll keep your camper from being too top heavy. This will increase the overall ride quality while your camper's attached and the safety. The attachment points are removable and adjustable.
There'll be two loops here where you can make your connection to your camper and there's two holes here to adjust the length of how far your attachment point sticks out.You can use either hole. So if you have very wide camper, you can use that first hole, or if your camper is tucked in nicer, you can use the second hole. The included pin will slide through the hole and keep it in place. It's made of a durable powder coated steel, so it's going to be extra strong and rigid, to keep your camper tied down nice and snug and the powder coat is going to prevent any rust and corrosion from occurring. When you're ready to hook up to your new connection point, take your turnbuckles and attach them to your camper. Now, if you need some turnbuckles, you can pick some up here on our website. You'll hook it in to your camper and you'll also hook it in down here on your new attachment point. Then, depending on your style of turnbuckle, you'll want to tighten it down.
Ours is a twist adjustment type. There are many different styles. And now with both sides in place, we'll repeat that same process in the front.Compared to Stake Pocket, or bumper-mounted camper tie-downs, frame-mounted tie-downs will provide better handling. They also mount out of sight, so they will be undetectable when not in use, giving your truck a cleaner look.Because the custom fit brackets secure tight against your trucks frame, there is no loss of ground clearance; and that completes our look at TorkLift's line of Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for the rear.

Forklift tie downs are manufactured to exact fit to existing manufactured frame rail holes. They lined up perfectly and after 6000 miles with camper on board have stayed secure. The only downside, (this is relative to when and ware you use you camper) they will corrode when driving through snow covered roads that have been treated with sand and/or salt. I use an oil based product to protect them corroding.
The supplied 2 1/2" factory REC hitch adapter plat needed grinding for it to fit in the receiver hitch. Once I did that it was easy to install and definitely a well built tiedown.
Truck camper tiedowns fit perfectly! Installation was simple and the customer service was great as I had originally ordered the incorrect parts. They quickly identified the correct part, shipped it immediately and provided return shipping label in a very timely manner! I will use e-trailer for all my RV needs.
The TorkLift camper tie downs you delivered were easy to instal and certainly served the application intended. The best part of the purchase was the way that you followed up to make sure that I had received the order and that they fit as they were supposed too. And now a year later you have contacted me again, to ensure that I am pleased with my purchase. GREAT product, and Awesome Service.
Much appreciated
This particular order was to correct a problem I made in the original order which resulted in me receiving the wrong part. etrailer made the return process very easy and helped me figure out my error and get the right part ordered.
I have ordered several items in the past few years from etrailer and things have gone well each time. Great place to do business with.
Easy to install on 2020 F350. I did not need the adapter for the receiver on this truck. Communication with etrailer was good
I received my forklift truck mounts and installed the front mounts. Not too challenging but if you watch the video of the install it makes it a little easier. When I went to install the rear mounts I discovered they weren’t the correct ones. I contacted Ryan at E-Trailer and she sent out the correct ones immediately. I received them in a couple days, installed them and all is well. Thank you for the quick service Ryan!

Somehow I plugged in all my vehicle info and the website lead me to the wrong part. I explained my situation to Paul and handled the return/new order perfectly...and within an hour I was notified that the correct part had shipped..it arrived in two days!
I have been a customer for 10 years and everything I have ordered has been a quality item, and in this case the customer service was off the charts good.
The package arrived very quickly and intact. I have a 2020 Ford F250 SD Lariat short bed with a factory hitch. The tie-downs were really easy to install although the hitch adapter plate (see attached photo) which is supposed to attach to the end of the tie-down would not fit inside the tubing on my factory installed hitch so I installed without it and it is tight and snug
I bought this when my previous belly bar and rear tie-down bent badly when our truck slid off the road into a steep ditch and our camper nearly tipped sideways off our truck. This product is a bit better then my old set up, but I expected something much better for this very high price. It wasn't too tough to install, despite the poorly written instructions. Also, the kit did not include a bolt fisher for the 7/16 bolt. The bolt fisher supplied was for a 1/2 inch bolt. Fortunately I had the correct bolt fisher from a previous project. I am also disappointed that the tie down hole has a slot cut in it which seems would significantly weaken it. I am not optimistic that the tie-down point will not bend or break if we have a similar significant side load such as when we slid into the ditch. I will probably weld the slot in the tie-down point shut to strengthen it.
I have a 2024 ram 3500 dually stock max tow package.
I figured I’d put pictures up that are of top quality and lighting as most instructions on trailer a vague and generic.
This product fit perfectly and it went on in 15 mins for both sides. ( no rusty bolts to mess with though)
Attached are photos of before and after install and bolt placement.
First, Andy was great to work with and very helpful.
I bought and installed the frame mounted Torklift camper mounts on my 2021 GMC 2500HD Sierra Denali and I’m very pleased with them, they’re stout. As long as you’re mechanically inclined and can follow instructions you should be able to install them yourself without assistance.
My brother installed these and he used air tools. The brackets fit perfectly. The instructions were thorough. They bolted right in and the only delay was the disconnect/reconnect of the e-brake cable to install the driver's side bracket (2019 RAM 3500). After all the parts were laid out, he installed all 4 brackets in an hour.
He commented many times on the weight, high quality and PERFECT FIT of these brackets. These are worth the price and made in the USA.
I installed the tie downs last night. I had help from my wife, they were reasonably easy to install. Everything went on just fine. No drilling or any difficulty with fit. My only difficulty was I got two bolts that had a different thread pitch than the nuts. No problem, went to the local hardware store and got what I needed. All good! I think the tie downs are made very strong. I really like them. Thanks E-trailer! Great product and great customer service. When in need of ..... I will purchase from E-Trailer again. Sincerely David C. Pennsylvania
The best system one can buy for worry free travel. Etrailer communication has been superb.
Awesome product! I purchased TorkLift camper tiedowns (both front and rear) for my 2015 Ford F-350. Installation instructions were easy to follow (pictures were a big help) and the "no drill" made it simple. Tiedowns were extremely solid as the fronts bolted to the leaf spring bracket and the rear to the factory hitch. I highly recommend this product.
I have been very happy with these tie-downs. They are VERY easy to install, require no drilling or modification to the hitch and hide away nicely when the inserts are removed. ~9,000 miles with our camper so far and no issues. These are on a 23 F250 PowerStroke short bed.
As soon as I ordered it e trailer people went right to work and got this order moving. Awesome
Torklift makes a quality product. This is easy to install. Just watch the etrailer video.
great fit, works great, strong parts, works perfect! etrailer was excellent in making sure I received the correct parts. I highly recommend etrailer, if in doubt, call them, don't try and wing it, they will set you up with the correct parts! I will use etrailer again!
Product was refurbished but sold as new.
Once again etrailer.com prefer to sponsor a YouTube channel the literally insult viewers (BTBRV) than be honest and sell new parts (as advertised)
These tiedowns were exactly as advertised and fit my 2023 f350 4wd crew cab perfectly using preexisting holes and mounts. They even came with wire feeders to feed the bolts through the holes on the frame. Instructions were very good and easy to follow. Can adjust the width of tie down and can also drill new holes to customize the width. I highly recommend these.
The product works perfectly!!
