Features to know about

Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Frame Mounts

These front tie-downs bolt right to your truck’s frame using pre-existing holes, so there’s little to no drilling or modification needed. The frame-mounted design keeps everything tight to the underside of the vehicle with minimal loss of ground clearance. That means better stability and less chance of dragging on uneven roads or off-pavement routes. Once in place, the setup gives a solid anchor point that feels like part of the truck itself.

Stay Stable on Every Mile: Frame-Mounted Strength

When you’re hauling a camper over long distances, stability is everything. Because these tie-downs attach directly to the frame—the strongest part of the vehicle—they lower the camper’s center of gravity and spread its weight evenly across the bed. That prevents sway and shifting even in strong crosswinds or rough terrain. Your truck handles naturally, and your camper stays planted for a safer, more comfortable ride.

Heavy-Duty Build: Aluminum and Stainless Steel

The TorkLift Talon tie-downs combine rustproof aluminum arms with stainless steel receiver brackets for strength that stands up to years of use. Both parts are protected with a high-impact powder coat finish that helps resist chips, road salt, and corrosion. The result is a lightweight but rugged setup that’s easy to handle during installation yet tough enough for heavy campers and harsh weather.

Clean Look When You’re Not Hauling

Once your trip’s done, just pull the removable arms and the brackets all but disappear beneath the truck. The nearly flush-mount design keeps everything looking clean without bulky parts hanging below the bed. You can drive around every day without even noticing they’re there until it’s time to load up again.

Simple Camper Connection with Adjustable Reach

Each tie-down arm includes two pin holes so you can extend it just far enough to clear sidewalls or fenders and reach your camper’s anchor points. This makes it easy to attach turnbuckles (sold separately) at the ideal angle for a secure hold. The adjustable setup helps keep tension balanced on all four corners so the camper stays locked in place even over miles of vibration and bumps.

Chevrolet Silverado 2500
It's a little tricky feeding the bolts through the frame (almost lost one, but a little tape on the bolt/spring helped), but a great product otherwise. The mounting scheme for my Chevy 2500 HD is strong and ingeniously designed. No drilling or welding. The aluminum won't rust like other tie-downs mounted to the frame. It was well worth the extra money to get the aluminum version of this product.
by:
Well made and simple to install with standard tools. Directions were fairly easy to understand. Fishing the bolts is critical. Make sure you fish the correct bolt as removal/change can be problematic. The customer service at etrailer was exceptional. The towshop messed up my previous order and ruined 2 weekends for me. I'll never shop there again.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
Received 2 driver side front mounts and dealer where it was being installed went the extra mile and made the change happen by calling your company. Trip stalled out b/c of incorrect parts. Product is likely great but product was incorrect when received.
by:
A little tricky to install. Otherwise completely satisfied. Would purchase again.
by:
There was a miss match with the first set I received (wrong part number) when the correct kit was received, TorkLift had packed the wrong extensions in the box. After TorkLift shipped the correct extensions everything went together correctly and worked as expected.
by:
Ordered both front and back set for my 2023 F250. All good except one of the bolt holes for the front drive side is missing. Called etrailer. Option 1 - return (we'll see). Option 2 call torklift. Called torklift and left a message - we'll see what the response is. Viewing etrailer website, this is the proper fit. Viewing torklift website "There are no fits available". Photo included.

I wanted to touch base with you in regard to the Torklift tie downs. Have you heard back from Torklift? May I ask what type of hitch you have on the truck? What type of cab do you have? Is it an 8 foot bed? Do you have running boards that extend past the cab?

@JennyN Hello, I haven't heard back from Torklift. THere is a descrepancy in that the etrailer website shows the front tie downs available for an F250 (what I ordered), but the torklift site does not. The hitch is OEM, but I had no issues with the rear tie downs. I have a crew cab with the 6'10" bed. My running boards do not extend past the cab. Thank you for reaching out,

@Jeff I now know that in order to install the front tie down brackets you would need to drill the missing hole. If you are not comfortable with and want to return it please let me know. We have updated our site to remove the front tie downs as a fit with the 2023 Ford 250 trucks

Hooray for stainless and aluminum! So much better than the carbon steel ones that were constantly shedding rust. I have so much better confidence in these tie downs over the originals
by:
I had a great customer experience with Ashley. Seemed very caring and understanding and resolved my issue with some tie downs that were defective.
Great customer care. Thank you

Excellent product and excellent service from ETRAILER! Held up well after one year, will hold up in long run as well. Fit and finish of product is outstanding. Durable coatings, and well worth the extra money for these!
by:
No worries about securing the camper to the truck using the Torklift tie-downs. Third camper/truck I have used these on and would not consider any other option.

Great, drove 2.5 hrs with with wind gusts to 60 mph without any issues. The tie downs held the camper securely on the truck.

by:
Install was easy and straight forward. Going to work great with my Northern Lite truck camper .
by:
After installing them we put our newly purchased truck camper on the truck and took a trip from New York to Louisianna. They did their job perfectly! They held up with ease and nothing was bent as they are aluminum. The installation instructions seemed okay, everything came together.
by:
The rear mounts were easy to mount. The only problem the package was missing 4 flat washers. I also just received the Front mounts. They were a little harder to mount by myself. Some advice is to watch the install on [video]. I ended up using a floor Jack to hold the mounts.
by:
This is my second set of Torklift tie downs. Like the first, these are excellent. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the annoying quality control in the packaging. My front tie downs came with only 1 bolt fisher, not the required 3! I was able to complete the install using the bolt fisher from the set of rear tie downs. I was able to install the C bolt without the fisher. One of the lock washers was the wrong size...not a big problem for a shop install but I had to make a trip to the local hardware store before I could finish the project. Lastly I had to cut off the passenger side bed bolt in order to get a socket on the B bolt to torque it down....again, not a problem for a shop install but irritating for this 70+ guy on his back in the driveway! *Aside from all this..I love the product!

2017 Dodge Ram Pickup
I bought the Torklift camper tie downs for my new 2017 Ram 3500 dually. I haul a Lance 850 slide in truck camper. They came today and I installed them in about 4 hours. (I work slow) I bought the Aluminum ones so I don't have to worry about any rust. They look great and like the Torklift that was on my old truck I am sure they will give me great service.

I have made about six trips this year and the Torklift truck camper tie down system has worked great. It is the only truck camper unit I would recommend.

by:
The tie-downs were a bit difficult to install for a novice but if you follow instructions closely they did install as outlined in the instructions. They are lightweight and have held my camper in place very well. I am happy with this purchase.

Fit the truck ez to install. Works great.

About a year ago, I purchased the aluminum Talon Torklift Frame-Mounted Front and Rear Camper Tie-Downs. The install was easy taking the better part of a day including a little help from a local automotive mechanic to loosen and retorque the truck’s leaf spring bolts. The Tie-Downs have worked great since installed with no issues. I highly recommend them.
by:
Excellent product. Good customer service. I will always use tork lift products from now on.
etrailer is an excellent vendor as well.
I upgraded from happy jack camper tie downs. I like the aluminum talon tork lifts for their easy installation, zero corrosion liability, and unimposing appearance when not in use.

I ordered Camper tie-downs for my new Ram 2500. I erroneously ordered TDL2126A for the front. They wouldn't clear the nurfs. A quick call confirmed that I would need the TDL2127A. I had to pay for the 27As up front and hope when I returned the 26As on an rmer I would receive prompt refunds. Imagine my surprise when they notified me that they received my return and the refund was on its way. These guys are super, especially Brenden C.
ps the Aluminum tie downs are great and the happy jacks awesome!

I purchased the Torklift Talon front and rear TC tie downs and love the fact they are lightweight but yet very strong. Being aluminum powder coated is great being in a salt air environment so no rusting like the steel versions do.

Easiest installation available. These fit perfect and attach just as instructed. The only issue you may have to watch is that on some truck frames, mine being one of them, Ford covers one of the holes with a black sticker that states, "No Mounting Bracket". In my case, the writing on this sticker was covered by a film of road grime and I had problems even finding the hole to dry fit the bracket until I cleaned off the frame with solvent. The actually TorkLift kit fits the frame perfectly though. The passenger rear bracket is very close to the exhaust pipe so when diesel particulate filter regeneration cycle begins, it will melt the label off the bracket but does not appear the even burn the paint on it so should still be OK, just be aware when unhooking the tie down from the bracket as it could be very hot.

I just finished installing the front tie-downs and am really happy with the results. Although the instructions directed me to remove one e-cable bracket, I removed both e-cable brackets on the driver's side to get enough slack to slide the bracket behind the e-cable. See the pictures. Instructions were easy to follow. Many thanks to big A for the extra hands, impact tool and torque wrench!
