Features to know about

Stay Steady on Long Trips: Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs

These custom frame-mounted tie-downs keep your camper secure and balanced even on long hauls. By attaching directly to your truck’s frame—the most rigid part of the vehicle—they distribute weight evenly and lower the center of gravity. That keeps your setup stable through crosswinds, rough roads, and quick maneuvers so your ride feels more controlled and comfortable. Because the camper’s not sitting high or shifting around, your truck handles just like it does when unloaded.

Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Mounting

These tie-downs bolt onto pre-existing holes in your frame with little to no drilling required. The bolt-on install means no cutting or permanent modifications, and you keep maximum frame strength. Each set includes two front tie-downs, two rear tie-downs, and installation hardware for a complete setup. Once installed, the arms extend far enough to clear sidewalls or fenders, and you can choose between two anchor holes for your turnbuckles to get the best reach and angle.

Keep a Clean Look When Not in Use

When the arms are removed, the brackets sit nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle and are barely visible. That low-profile design keeps your truck looking clean when you’re not hauling a camper. It’s an easy way to maintain utility without giving up style or ground clearance.

Built Tough: Powder-Coated Steel

Made of steel with a high-impact powder coat finish, these tie-downs hold up against weather, road debris, and heavy use. The durable coating adds extra protection from chips and corrosion so you can count on them trip after trip. Combined with solid frame mounting, that strength gives you the confidence to take on long-distance travel with heavy campers or rough backroads.

Secure Connection: Adjustable Arms for Turnbuckles

Each tie-down arm has two pin holes so you can adjust how far it extends from the body. This makes it easy to position turnbuckles (sold separately) at the ideal angle to your camper’s anchors for a tight, balanced hold. Offset anchor points help keep your camper from shifting side to side, giving you a safer, more secure setup every time you hit the road.

Video Transcript for Mount: TorkLift Tie Downs on a 2016 Toyota Tundra

Today, on our 2016 Toyota Tundra, we're going to be installing TorkLift's Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for the front, part number TLT2307.This tie-down brace is going to give you a secure location to properly mount your camper to the bed of your truck. This brace will offer a location, where you can more evenly distribute the weight, so it won't be so top-heavy. So that way, you'll have your camper on there more securely, when going down the road. This is a no-drill installation. It simply installs to the front of your leaf spring mounting location here, and it comes with all the hardware you'll need to get installed. After you've got it installed, if you take your camper off, you can simply pull the pin. Slide the sleeves out. And now, you can't even tell that you've made any modifications to your truck. To get the most secure tie-down for your camper, I do recommend that you install a set for the rear as well.

This will give you a tie-down location for each corner of your camper. This comes in a quantity of two. One for both the driver's side and passenger side. It's made of a black powder-coated steel, so it's going to be resistant to the elements. We'll begin our installation under the vehicle at the front of our leaf spring here. We're going to need to loosen up the bolt that attaches our leaf spring, just at the front of the bed. We'll use a 19 millimeter wrench or socket to remove the nut.Save the nut because we'll be reusing it. Slide one of the large washers over your bolt there.

Then, we can take our bracket. Now, these are side-dependent. You'll want the arm that comes out kinda at a 45 angle here to be percentage towards the front of the vehicle. We're going to slide that and kinda work it around on our bolt. You want to swing it around until the hole on your 45 lines up with the hole on the outside of your spring brace. We can now thread our nut back on that we removed in the first step.

We can just do it hand-tight for now. We'll now take our half-inch diameter bolt. Slide the lock washer on it. Make sure that will fit through there. If it doesn't fit through the hole, you may have to tweak your brace a little bit just to get it to line up.Once you've got your bolt through the hole and lined up, we'll take our handle nut. We're going to slide it up, back behind there, and this needs to thread into that. We'll place the spacer between the bracket and the spring brace.

We'll then slide our longer bolt with a three-eighths diameter through the bracket, spacer, and spring base.On the backside, we're going to place a flat washer followed by a lock washer, and a nut. We can now go back and tighten down our hardware. We're going to use a 19 millimeter socket for the 45-degree angle bracket bolt. And we're going to use a 15 millimeter socket and a wrench for our smaller bolt. Now, on the backside, we'll tighten up the nut that we removed in the first step. And then, go back and torque all of your hardware to the specifications found in your instructions. We'll now slide our tie-down brace in there. Slide the pin in. Bring it over, and lock it down. We'll now repeat all those same procedures on the opposite side. When you're putting your driver's side on, you'll need to remove this bolt, position your cable out of the way. Install your brace. And once you've got your brace fully installed, you can then bring that back down, and put that bolt back in. A little notch here on your bracket for your cable brace won't go back in the hole because we're using that here. It's okay. You can just tuck it off to the side. And that completes our installation of TorkLift's Custom Frame-Mounter Camper Tie-Downs for the front on our 2017 Toyota Tundra.

Installation was fairly simple, instructions were good and I had everything I needed.

by:

Only had one issue passenger front the last didn’t line up bolt didn’t got in I had side drill on the bracket a little to get it figures the last one I did the rest was easy.

To start, e-trailer has always been good to me and I have purchased from them many times. This product is well built and for that they would get high marks. The packaging was terrible! Heavy metal parts not adequately wrapped, thus one of arms punctured through the box. The plastic bag inside holding all parts is not adequately sealed (just a pinch seal like a ziplock bag) thus it opened up spilling contents all through the inside of box. When I went to pick it up from delivery, contents were spilling out all over. I photographed and notified e-trailer. I’d suggest better packaging and use box tape to seal the hardware bag.

by:

Installation took me about 45 minutes. The directions are not good, but enough to get them installed without much trouble.
The tie down work great on my 2024 F350 SRW Tremor.

by:

Worked great. Install was not bad. I particularly liked the fact I did not have to drill any holes.

by:

Great product! Fits perfect to the frame and very good quality materials. Even fit perfectly with my rock sliders.

by:

Fairly easy installation. Good instructions, but it helps to watch one of the YouTube videos first. With just the receivers, you can hardly even see them, they’re tucked underneath so well. Very sturdy. I feel very confident that no matter what, these babies will hold. They’re pricy, but well worth it.

I did a lot of research to find the right kind of frame mounts for my dads truck. Lots of local RV places didn't even know what I was looking for, or quoted me for the wrong parts. After I was certain I found the right tie downs, I contacted etrailer customer service chat representative and they were a great help at confirming the parts I found would in fact fit my dads truck. My husband and dad installed them in less than 2 hours. The parts came quickly and in excellent packaging/condition.

by:

Great experience. The man that took the order was very familiar with the Torklift Tie Downs and was able to answer all my questions.

by:

I installed these on a 2019 F250 Super Duty. The most challenging step was loosening the leaf spring nuts. Once that was done, the install was a piece of cake. Tehran not in use, they are not very noticeable. They are very sturdy and hold the camper securely. Although the entire system (w/fast guns) is a bit pricey, they are well worth it!

by:

Product arrived quickly and install was simple with supplied parts, instructions and tools.

by:

With the exception of removing the emergency brake lines. I could have done this job of mounting the front and rear mounts in under two hours, instead of three. Excellent design and looks great!

by:

Order the kit. This is the second set I have ordered in the last few months. etrailer ships fast and makes sure you can track your shipments. Also notifies you every step of the way. I appreciate the follow through with keeping me informed at when my package will arrive. I tried to buy these direct from the manufacture but they wanted more than etrailer and I had to find back and front sets. They did not sell them in kits.

Also glad the etrailer doesn't play the game of shipping in the lower 48 states only BS, there are 50 official states ins the USA (51 if your counting Alberta)! Plus numerous US territories...

Second set of Torklift camper tiedown brackets I have purchased. 1999 Dodge 2500 and 2016 Ram 3500. Fit good. No drilling. I would buy again. Good product. (I am a certified ASME, AWS, API, welder and fabricator). No hype, just fact.

by:

The camper tie downs are still working great.

by:

I would say that the Torklift kit fit my 2024 GMC sierra pro crew cab perfectly the shipping to Canada took 5 days which I thought was fast delivery and it shipped the same day it was ordered

by:

Ordered for 2025 GMC 3500HD to carry our Arctic Fox slide in camper. Kits were shipped right away and arrived in Anchorage in 5 days (as ordered). The tie downs are excellent quality, all hardware arrived with the kit, instructions were "OK", installation on rear tie downs a little tricky, but managed to do ourselves. Looking forward to some great camping adventures. Thanks for the GREAT service!

by:

We had a hiccup with my order and it was lost in cyberspace for a day until I called and was able to get it going. Unfortunately, I needed them by Saturday and I ordered them Wednesday. They didn't ship until Thursday afternoon and didn't arrive until Monday. The seller of the camper was kind enough to hold the camper for me, but it was touch and go there for a while.
Installing them was a challenging because the pictures in the guide were difficult to see which slowed the installation down a little. It took 2 of us about 3 hours to install them. Now that they are on the truck with the camper they seem to be working great! The only problem remaining is the front tie downs use a bolt to hold the tie down to the frame and it obstructs the passage, so it will only advance as far as the first pin making the second hole unreachable (it sticks out from the truck a few extra inches and makes the extension wobble up and down until the turnbuckle was installed).

by:

great fit, works great, strong parts, works perfect! etrailer was excellent in making sure I received the correct parts. I highly recommend etrailer, if in doubt, call them, don't try and wing it, they will set you up with the correct parts! I will use etrailer again!

by:

These things are heavy duty. Straightforward installation, just follow the instructions and videos. Fit like a glove and are rock solid. Thanks etrailer for fast shipping and Torklift for great products.

by:

Absolutely the only way to correctly attach your truck camper. Pair these white Fastguns and it’s a great combo. I just went on a 5000 mile trip with my TC and never moved an inch.

by:

They seem stout and were easy enough to install. I added my own 2” square rubber caps to the ends to keep road debris out when they’re not in use, those should be included. For $850 the packaging could use some work. They arrived all banged up, the “high impact powder coat” is worn off in several areas leaving bare steel exposed.

by:

I ordered this kit for my 2018 Ford F150 'Heavy Half' regular cab, long bed pickup. The tie downs came with all the necessary hardware, good instructions, were easy to install with basic tools, and required no drilling. Shipping was very fast. I would absolutely recommend TorkLift tie downs and etrailer.com.

by:

This is the only way the tie downs fit is this a safe way to strap it down

by:

After selling previous truck camper and getting a new truck these tie downs are outstanding. The direct fit for year make model is awesome. Takes the guess work out installation. The install instructions were really good as well as etrailers videos. etrailer is the great providing product install walk thru. The adjustability of these tie downs made my life easier when I picked up my new TLRV 8 foot truck camper.
