This forged steel D-ring lets you add an extra anchor point on your truck, utility trailer or enclosed cargo trailer. Bolts to most flat, solid surfaces. Perfect for securing ATVs, UTVs, riding mowers, and other heavy cargo.
Features:
Specs:
Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the CargoSmart forged bolt on D-ring tie-down anchor. It has a 3,666 pound working load limit. Now, this forged D-ring will provide an extra anchor point on your truck, trailer, or van. It's a durable forged steel construction. It's a very simple bolt on installation to a flat surface. Now, the mounting hardware is not included.
This is for a quantity of one. Now, the anchor point diameter, which is this portion right here, this is a 1/2" diameter. Measurement on the ring inside diameter, horizontal-wise, is gonna be 2 3/8". The vertical inside diameter is right at 2 1/2". Now, on the mounting bracket, the mounting hold diameter is right at 3/8", and then the mounting hole distance center to center, between the two holes, is right at 2".Now, again, this has a safe working load limit of 3,666 pounds, maximize load or braking strength of 11,000 pounds.
Now, one note I do wanna mention on tie-down anchors, that they must be chosen according to their safe working load limit, so the weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the anchors that you're using. For example, if you're using anchors that have a working load limit of 100 pounds each, and you're gonna tie down a load weighing 400 pounds, you're gonna need at least four anchors to safely secure that load. It is always recommended that you use anchors in pairs. But, that should do it for the review on the CargoSmart forged bolt on D-ring tie-down anchor with a 3,666 pound working load limit.

The package with the weld on D ring anchors and the breakaway battery kit arrived faster than I expected. Everything is great quality, just what I expected. One small part missing and a phone call had it taken care of in no time. She was very pleasant and professional. I would recommend etrailer.
The part that gets welded on. One was fine the other was pretty twisted
Work as expected
Added D rings as part of a trailer rebuild. As advertised. Welded on with no issues.
Welded onto front of Polaris Ranger to serve as an anchor point for double line winching. These D rings do exactly as I had hoped.
Super fast shipping.. always easy to deal with.

We put these on our trailer. Simple and secure anchor points and works great.
The product I received came quickly and right. Website is difficult to order from
Tried to order additional products on site finally had to call to order them. Ended up had 3 orders the same cancelled one called to make sure I had only one order. They said only one ordered then next day get an email saying two orders of same thing shipped. So now I have to wait till they come and send one back. Not happy about that.
These D-rings solved my problem, without these my sports car was tearing through the ratcheting tie-downs.
Very heavy duty for what I'm using them for. I had to put a washer between the trailer and bracket so they would swivel.
