Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this CargoAnchor multipurpose mount for trailers with angle iron rails. So this is a simple but yet, flexible way to add secure tie down points to exactly where you need them on your trailer. This uses a snap-on mount that's going to slide right into your trailer side rail so you can position this virtually anywhere along the rail to match your load. That means that you're not stuck with fixed tie down spots. You can just adjust them depending on what you're hauling.
And one of the nice things about this is, there's no drilling, no permanent hardware required. Again, you're just gonna slide it in place, secure with this included snap in pin, just like that. And it's gonna be quick to install and just as easy to move or remove when you don't need it. Once it's set, the built-in tabs here are going to hold it at the correct height. So it's going to stay put and give you stable, reliable tie down points.
And you're gonna be able to use this with your existing straps, chains, hooks, bolt-on tie down hardware, so no need to buy all new accessories. And if you're leaving your trailer unattended, you can even swap out the snap pin for a padlock, which is obviously not included with this to add a layer of theft deterrence. This is constructed from powder-coated steel, so this is built to last. Coating's gonna help resist rust and corrosion, so it's gonna hold up well over time. Lemme give you some measurements here.
Looking at the overall height, we are sitting right at about right about 9 5/8 inches with, pretty close to 6 7/8 inches wide, and the thickness, about 1 1/4 inches thick or deep.
