Blind spot mirrors may be placed anywhere you wish, but they are typically located on the bottom outside corner of a vehicle's side-view mirror. The desired placement varies from one person to the next.
You can try out different placements by putting a piece of folded tape on the back of the blind spot mirror and sticking it onto your side-view mirror where you think you might want it. Then sit in your car or truck and check to see if the mirror is reflecting the area you'd like to see. Keep adjusting the placement until it suits your needs.
When you have the mirror where you want it, peel off the backing and stick it on permanently.

Hi everyone, Aiden here at Etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the K-Source blind spot mirror. It's gonna be a small 2 1/8th inch cube. That's going to just stick onto your mirror and give you a nice convex surface to give you a wide viewing angle and help reduce your blind spots on the road. Let's check it out. Now on the back, there's going to be a sticker, just a double-sided adhesive that we can peel back and place this on the mirror.
I'm gonna get a little bit in the way of the camera here to make sure I get this placement right. Typically, it'll go in the bottom outside corner of your mirror, but you can place it wherever you want. This is just where this one's gonna go because we replaced this mirror for one of our coworkers this morning and this is where his old one was, so we're just gonna set it up in the same spot. And then we can still have all of our normal mirror adjustments because it's not in the way of the mirror housing, but now we get that extended viewing angle in the blind spot. That adhesive is pretty strong, I don't think it'll be coming off very easily at all and it's got a plastic housing around there so you don't have to worry about any sort of deterioration from the elements like rain and it's a really simple addition to your mirror.
It doesn't take up too much space and it's gonna help improve your visibility going down the road. But that'll do it for our look at the K-Source blind spot mirror. Thanks for watching.
