Best Ram 3500 Rv Plug Adapters

Returning. It doesn't work to plug into to your house to give power to the RV when it's parked. What's the point of the options on one cord if it doesn't work. And yes, I used non gfci outlets on my house. Yet my super cheap crap adapters will work. Makes sense. What a nice cord too, but doesn't work.

Must be shorted internally. Tried it multiple times. Gave up. Ordered a straight 30 amp. Problem solved.

The best way to go for that application. Low profile, exact fit with no dangling pigtail cord. Will be simple to stow and should outlast the RV. I made the right choice!

Put this adapter plug to use when it arrived. Looks pretty well made and it does the trick. Packaging was good and was easy to open. Hope this adapter can stand the West Texas climate. Gets pretty toasty during the summer months. And the customer service from etrailer was very professional and quick.

It'perfect! Tired of lugging around that 50 amp cord.

Works just as it should. Now I can use my 30 amp extension cord with my 5th wheel when I am at a campsite or storage that does not have 50 amp connections. The adapter arrived just a promised and the customer service was outstanding. I will order from etrailer again.

This plug is in use now, and working exactly as it should. It is a shoreline for our Class B RV, plugged into a home circuit. Delivery came as promised, on the day promised, decently packaged without a lot of waste. I'd give it 5 stars, but this has been used a few days only. Our last one was over 30 yrs old when it died.

Very handy. We use it at home to plug in, keeping the battery charged up at all times. (We have a high quality charger that does the job right. Not all do!) It also enables us to run one of the A/C units so we can stay cool while loading up and prepping for a trip. etrailer shipped it quickly, and it arrived on time and in good condition. This product proved it’s worth this spring. At a large RV Resort we were experiencing problems with our inside electrical outlets and water heater (on electricity setting) - I checked the Camcorder Power Defender and it showed that they electrical box had issues. Maintainance came and fixed box - we were good to go. The unit protected and informed. Definitely provides a sense of security.

I ordered the wrong part at first, after I received it I contacted them and got the right one ordered. no problem, they took the wrong one back, all I had to do was print up the return ups sticker and send it back.

Ordering was easy, shipping fast. Quality product that fits into the 5th Wheel power perfectly. Twist lock operates smooth, however the screw ring is difficult to line up and prefers to cross thread rather than screw correctly. The screw ring is plastic but sturdy. Hopefully the constant screwing back and forth doesn't cause a premature failure.

this should solve the problem of my 50 amp motorhome cord that plugs into the side and puts too much weight on the outlet, I have a 50 amp extension cord that will plug into this and hang. down

This pigtail adapter is exactly what I needed to charge my Microlite Car Go Lite with it's 30 amp connector from a standard 110 outlet. Heavy duty quality product at a bargain price.

A pleasure to deal with. The 30 amp plug adaptor allowed me to turn an RV extension cord into a heavy duty 115-volt extension cord. This saved me over a hundred dollars if I had to purchase a normal 115-volt cord.

We bought this RV Plug Adapter from etrailer. Having this on the 5 trips we done has given us peace of mind for keeping our travel trailer electrical safe from surges, etc. Thank you for providing good products at competitive prices.

New to Camp trailers, I bought this to connect our trailer to a house outlet until I can install 30 Amp service. My intent was to plug this directly into the outside house outlet, then plug the camper into it. Not going to happen. The male side will not plug into most outside outlets that have a protective cover. If the duplex outlet is installed vertically, or horizontally with the ground on the left side, the Camper plug will put so much torque on the outlet that it will break. So I went to "Plan B" and used my construction grade extension cord between the wall and the adapter, Works GREAT! Having the plugs at 90 degrees to each other really makes putting them together or taking them apart easy (and both of my hands are partly disabled). The bright color means I won't forget it when traveling, and the ABS plastic makes it nearly indestructible. Although I am happy with this, and it is doing the job well, you might consider Product CAM55165, it is a pigtail that will allow you to use your new adapter in a greater variety of locations.

In hind sight, the angle of this plug isn't ideal for strain relief when a relatively heavy electrical cord is plugged in. But it seems to work thus far with no issues.

Whenever I loose power I run my generator to supply power to my mobile home! My generator came with one RV outlet and I purchased this adapter plug to convert it from a 15 AMP FEMALE to 30 AMP Male (Round).I was then able to plug my outside post-light into that outlet! Making my life so much easier being able to go outside at night to check on the generator without having to use a flashlight!
