Love how this comes apart making it EASY to remove from truck bed and re-install. Easy to assemble with standard hand tools and torque wrench. When the snow clears here in Montana I will THEN hookup the 5th wheel to the hitch. By the end of camping season 2025 I will return to provide an update. Photos show one box (hitch head) that UPS delivered promptly without damage. The other box (hitch base) UPS took on a tour of the east coast and as a result was loaded and off-loaded from many many more trucks. The boxes aren't designed for that. Result was a torn-up box that UPS tried to keep together with tape. Fortunately, the contents were 'contained' within the box, and nothing was damaged as a result. That issue is not a B&W nor an eTrailer fault in my opinion.

Etrailer quick delivery 3 days to Cali. Hitch is Very stout construction excellent welding, very easy to assemble! My only negative response is that the packaging. Hitch had a couple scratches due to it bouncing around while in transit. B&W should improve their packaging.

The trailer hitch is perfect and it is used all the time pulling an RV. If I do this again I will do it at the same place.

Finally got my new B&W Companion Gooseneck to 5th wheel hitch installed in the bed of my 2024 Ford F250 Lariat. While I have not pulled my fifth wheel yet, I have hooked up to check clearances, etc. first thing I noticed was how easy hooking up and unhooking was with this witch. This hitch is solid and I look forward to many miles traveling with it. My truck has 6.7 foot bed and in the picture I will send you will notice I still had room for a 43 gallon auxiliary fuel tank. I wanted to be able to easily utilize my truck bed and this hitch provides that in spades! Easy to remove and install. I absolutely have to give a shout out to Paula on customer service. She was amazing! My first shipment was damaged and missing a vital part. Paula had another one shipped right away and made my return shipment a breeze. She stayed in contact with me to the end. I felt like she shared in my joy once the install was complete! The hitch is super adjustable for optimal placement in the bed and height of the trailer. Make a few quick measurements and it just goes together quickly. Love the dual jaw release lever. Our last 5th wheel hitch had the standard pull to release lever and it was often very difficult to operate. This lever style is a game changer. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the product and customer service!

Just installed this CURT 16K ~5th wheel hitch into our new 2017 GMC truck. It took about an hour and it would have been nice if the directions would have told you what height each set of holes would produce. I'd recomend using some marine grease on the four puck joints prior to trying to lock them in. I really like this new hitch puck truck system over the Reese hitch with the bed mounted bars. I'd highly recommend this hitch if you have the factory GMC /Chevrolet puck system. The e trailer online help was truly appreciated as it steered me to the proper hitch for our new truck.

Very easy install. Looks great. Functions perfect. Easy hook up to fifth wheel. Perfect fit for my 2017 gmc HD Denali 3/4 ton with factory installed fifth wheel plate. Love it thanks. Just what I was looking for. Better than paying 1,000 dollars at chevy dealer for them to order.

The Hitch is Great! The shipping box was almost destroyed when I received it, this was the second hitch that I bought from etrailer and again the product was great but the shipping box was almost non-existing. Improve the shipping box.

They advertise you can be within 3” of hitch and still connect I found that you need to be almost perfect. And to latch and unlatch there can’t be any pressure going up or weight going down, you have about a 1/4” to play with. I found it to be rougher when pulling than a normal fifth wheel hitch. It is very light though.

We have the Anderson Hitch installed on our 2017 Ford SuperDuty and pull a Reflection 337RLS. We have traveled over 4,000 miles and have been extremely satisfied. The hitch allows plenty of clearance between 5th wheel, bed, and the truck cab. Hook-up and disconnect has always been easy, even with RV lots that were uneven dirt lots. I use Curt thin rubber sound dampeners (item 16900) and this provides a quiet, tight fit between the rails and hitch. Of course the light weight makes it easy to remove when not towing and less weight when you are towing. A great product for the right truck, trailer combination.

This can be easily put together and installed by one person. I had to put the base into the universal rails loosely and then torque the bolts to spec. This hitch was an upgrade.from the autoslide hitch I originally purchased for my 5th wheel. The noise and banging has disappeared. This hitch was well worth the money. I also purchased the custom fit wedge for my pinbox. I don't believe I could be any happier with this hitch.

I was very pleased with the Curt A16 5th wheel hitch. Unfortunately I ended up buying a new truck.(I no longer have a need for this hitch). My new truck has a shorter bed which requires a different hitch.

I recently purchased a Reese M5 20K hitch for my new Silverado 3500HD, Crew Cab, 8’ bed. As usual, Etrailer pricing was very good and with free shipping to boot. The hitch arrived via UPS in just a few days after placing the order. Following the detailed instructions provided by Reese, the install into the factory “puck” system, was fairly straight forward. However, a word of caution concerning the install. There are 4 15/16” bolts that need to be torqued to 220-foot pounds and are somewhat difficult to get to. Fortunately, I was able to borrow a torque wrench that would accommodate the recommended foot pounds of torque. Also, you may have an issue if you need to place the hitch at its highest position. The release handle might protrude above the bed rails of your truck in this position. This will be a problem if you have a bed cover. Reese is/was well aware of this issue and sells an after-market handle that will correct this issue. Etrailer lists this handle on their Web page.

Installed in a 2018 GMC 3500 LB SRW Overall it was really easy to put together. Its light enough move in and out and very sturdy. I did not have a clearance issue with the Backflip cover regarding the stock handle. See pics. Just a heads up, I had an issue with the threading in the legs, etrailer was very understanding and sent me out replacements supper fast. I contacted Reese regarding paint guncked up in the threading and they were aware of the issue, they recommended running a wire brush or a tap to clean it out.

So far everything has worked out great. The hitch was received quickly and the assembly was very easy, with directions very clear. The hitch installed into the existing rails as the person who helped me said thy would. I have not yet hooked up to my 5th wheel because it is in storage for the winter but as easy as it works I have no doubt it will work great.

Works as it should. Prior to installing this hitch I had never touched a 5th wheel hitch. This hitch is designed to work on GMC/Chevy with trailer prep package. Well they did a great job. I went from hitch in the crate to hitch installed in less than 30 minutes. I would caution that you may need help lifting hitch into bed of truck, hitch is heavy.

Checked around the local truck shops in my area and everybody was between 1200 and 1900 for hitches and then installation. Nobody wanted to install one in my factory package, everybody wanted to drill more holes. One call to retailer and I had a factory correct installment fifth wheel hitch for a third the price of the local guys. Awesome product and easy installation.

I love the indicator shows green when hitched. Twice I thought it hitched but looked at the indicator and it was yellow. Not Hitched properly. Ease of putting in and taking out is a big plus.

Just installed my 5th wheel. (mechanically inclined) 30 minutes and done. Whoever thought of the puck system in the newer trucks is a genius! BW made this bad boy heavy duty. Was all I could do to lift frame in place. Put in place loosened all bolts and it fit in place like a glove. Torqued bolts and cannot wait to get my new toyhauler hitched up!!

WOW.....I consider myself pretty handy but between the instructions and youtube...this installation was simple. Very solid....so very impressed.....I have a rubber mat in my bed and it took longer to cut holes put than installing the 5th wheel....I just can't say enough good things about this hitch. I really like this hitch. The puck system lined up perfectly with the OEM hitch frame in my 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 truck bed so installation was very easy. I like the jaw position indicator that tells you at a glance from the cab whether the jaws are opened or closed which makes hitching and unhitching straightforward. This hitch is over-rated for my rig by 10,000 lb but that should translate to greater reliability and service life. My only complaint is that there's no facility to securely lock the hitch onto the truck bed to prevent it from being stolen. I solved this problem by running a steel cable through the gooseneck puck opening and around the truck frame and looped the cable through the lower hitch frame and hitch head and secured it with a padlock. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

After talking on the phone about the Q25 or A25, I decided to get the A24. Its the new model for the Curt hitch and can’t be happier with it so far. Shipment was fast. Boxes were damaged but can’t really blam it since the two boxes are very heavy. Hitch only had a few scratches on it. Was very easy to put together. I have not towed with it yet since it is still winter here in Maryland. The hitch is build very good. Can already tell it will be way better than my old hitch. I won’t put that company’s name on this review. I highly recomemd ordering from etrailer.

Hitch works great, can now hook up to trailer without having to stop & put up tailgate, then finish backing up. Tailgate would hit front of trailer when hooking up. The two things I didn’t like as well as others, the box with the base unit was tore up, but unit was fine , and the cotter pins for puck latches need to include extras, or make holes bigger for keeper pins. Also added small chains to hairpins that hold look pins for top so they don’t get lost.

I have ran a cheap competitor hitch for several years. A manufacturing defect (welded pivot pin) caused the hitch to fail and resulted in 18000$ damage to my truck and trailer. I chose the Curt 25000# hitch after much research and found it to be very well made and clearly shows when it is properly coupled. It is quiet and operates with minimal klunking and chunking going down the road. Overall I am very pleased.

Mounted this hitch on my flatbed 3500 Ram and the hitch works flawlessly. Pull 44' tri-axle weighing in at 23,000# with ease. Very easy to use and understand, very easy to maintain.

Putting the hitch together was easy following the instructions, it seems to be was built...time will tell. I only used the hitch one time for only a 60 mile tow...hitching and unhitching was a breeze
