Reese 60x24 Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - 500 lbs Capacity - Glossy Black
My 9 year old and I were able to assemble and install this in about an hour. The anti rattle bolt recommended in the video, and the lights, were great additions and I definitely recommend them too. Handled a 900 mile round trip around the northeast and had plenty of room to bring Xmas presents home in the Curt waterproof cargo bag.
This is a solid Cargo carrier. I was originally looking for a rooftop carrier but I came to realize that a cargo carrier is a far superior option for increased weight and size, ease of access, stability and aerodynamic. Although this one doesn't fold up, there is still adequate space to access the rear hatch on my SUV.

Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Matte Black
Excellent car top carrier (not that I've had many to compare it to). Easy to install and remove, sturdy, and fits well on our Toyota Siena. Opening it is a little tricky, as sometimes the top sticks to the bottom a bit. Adds a lot of extra storage to our car, great for when we go camping. Great experience with etrailer.
Excellent roomy cargo box. My wife’s luggage even fit (see photo). Fit the top of my Forester like it was meant to be there and the hatch opens without obstruction. Great shipping by etrailer.com via Estes freight shipping (almost overkill on shipping).

Curt 60x24 Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - 500 lbs Capacity - Matte Black
Great cargo rack! Well made and strong. We modified ours to carry our ebikes on top of our generator and cooler. We've been from coast to coast with no problems.
Used it a hand full of times for camping with two different SUVs and its been great. Once over 2000 miles round trip. With the waterproof bag you can hold more gear since it goes above the side rails. Just be careful if your driveway slopes down you’ll lightly scrape the ground when backing out. And if you have a smaller suv or car make sure you center the heaviest items or it will feel it pulling back and forth on the freeway.

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
I use this on my 2022 F250, when hauling my cab over. I was able to remove the folding part and attach it straight to my hitch to get it closer to the back of the truck. It’s light weight, decently sturdy, and easy to assemble.
This thing was not fun to put together. At all. But I got fair warning about it from the reviews. I suggest a 17mm socket bit and a drill. Plan on taking it apart a couple times so don't cinch it down tight at first. Once it is put together it's a solid unit. It'll be nice for our camping trips. The light bulky stuff that took up precious real estate can now ride outside.

SportRack Horizon Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black
Excellent box with moderate difficulty putting it on the roof. Once it's installed on the car it's great. Not too much wobble at highway speeds and keeps everything inside dry. Nearly no wind noise as well. Only gripe I have is attaching this to the roof bars. The far side connectors are a bit hard to reach.
It takes up most of my Subaru Imprezas roof. It will definitely hold everything we need it to. Communication from etrailer and shipping co were great. Installing the cargo box was super easy.

23x47 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier w/ Lid - 2" Hitches - Steel - 450 lbs
This my the second Carrier. I backed my first one into a pole and "TACO'd" it. I wouldn't have bought the second if it wasn't such a necessary option for my RV Good quality!
I gave etrailer.com 5 stars for there product support and getting the Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier #M2200-2201 to me in time for our trip despite the bad weather across the Country and 5 Stars to Carpod for a great product that was easy to assemble and mount on my trailer. It easily held all needed it for.

GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Slide Out - 17 cu ft - 420 lbs - Black
Perfect sized box for carry sized luggage and softball game day gear. Proven space saver. Receiver is showing signs of rust otherwise would be a ten. Would buy again.
Overall it's a great box. Love how much room it has and it's easy access. Slides out so van's rear doors open completely. Brake and turn lights improve visibility. Not waterproof but generally things stay dry. A couple of minor things: hole for lock was too close to the edge and pulled out so I drilled one on each front corner (more secure) - metal stays keep sliding out. I need to glue them in. I definitely would buy again.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Once it was together, I really liked it. It wasn’t that easy to put together and it required metric tools which I had to search for. It worked well and it was very useful.
Great little rack that does it's job. 4/5 due to two factors, one being its maximum 150lbs rating & two for being positioned DIRECTLY behind the stock exhaust on the 2017 Fiesta ST. We used this to driving across the country (Seattle, WA > Norfolk, VA) and it worked great, after wrapping our suitcase that was directly behind the exhaust in some heat resistant insulation. It did Melt the canvas tarp slightly but after the insulation, the suitcase was fine. Definitely was a lifesaver for space, with three adults, a chihuahua and 17lb cat being in the car for 45 hours, over the span of 5 days.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
I love this unit! I’m an avid Camper and Jeeper. My rig has big tires including the spare that requires additional clearance. In addition to hauling my gear, I had concerns about ground clearance off roading and stability. This unit exceeded my expectations on every point! I can even open the tailgate with the unit on and it still has enough clearance to fold up when not loaded. In addition to a great product, the order was confirmed and shipped same day and on my doorstep two days later. It was pretty easy to put together but having a second person to help and fit it on the first time is helpful. Great product!
Easy assembly. Took about 15 minutes. Includes everything needed, even 2 wrench tools! Feels sturdy and well made. Feels just like our other one( curt brand)

Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 18 cu ft - Black Glossy
This rooftop cargo carrier is exactly what I wanted. Well made and super easy to install. Thank you for the fast service.
The box is big (XL), shiny and sleek. Looks great on our 2021 Subaru Ascent. It weighs about 40lbs, so I was able to simply lift it up and onto the stock Subaru cross bars by myself with a bit of effort going towards balance. Then it was just a matter of attaching the clamps by hand tightening them. I don’t think it could get any easier. The locking mechanism is very assertive and secure. The box is big and can hold just about anything you’d need on a road trip. However, on a midsize SUV like the Ascent, it seems like the perfect size, not too small, not too big. It’s a good fit. Unfortunately, my small 2 car garage is too low to accommodate the vehicle with the box in place. Overall it’s a very refined and well thought out package.
A Closer Look at the Thule Force 3 Sport Rooftop Cargo Box on a 2023 GMC Acadia
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at the Thule Force 3 11 cubic foot rooftop box on our 2023 GMC Acadia. Adding a rooftop box to the top of your vehicle is going to help you to increase your cargo capacity. It'll let you get those bigger, bulkier, and sometimes dirty items on top of your vehicle when you're out on the road. The thing that's special about this guy is the fact that it doesn't take up your whole roof, so you can add additional accessories. So let's take a closer look and see how well it fits on our Acadia. The exterior of our box has Thule's nano skin.
Inno Roof Cargo Box 850 Test Fit - 2021 GMC Acadia
Hi, Matt with the etrailer. If you have a 2021 GMC Acadia and you're looking for a roof box that's gonna be sleek, low profile and it's gonna be perfect to haul your longer items like skis, snowboards, or anything like that, then, you know, 850 roof box is gonna be a great option for you. So let's check it out. Now, if you have any experience with this box, please let us know how you like it in either a comment or review below, telling us how that journey's looking like for you. But today I'm gonna be really just talking about how it's gonna interact with the Arcadia and what really stands out to me is that, again, it's gonna be more low profile as sleeker design and it's gonna have a lot of the same benefits as those other premium boxes out there. You can open it up from either side, it is gonna be locking, but the big appeal to me is it's super easy to use throughout that entire process.
Does the GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches Suit Your 2019 GMC Acadia
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Let's Go Aero GearDeck 17 enclosed cargo carrier. This is gonna be a box that goes onto your hitch receiver, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2019 GMC Acadia. So not only do you have extra cargo space, but you also do not lose out on the cargo space of your own vehicle.
How Does the Flint Hill Goods 22" x 49" Cargo Carrier Fit on a 2019 GMC Acadia?
Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this Flint Hill Goods 47 and a half by 20 and a half inch hitch cargo carrier, how it fits on our 2019 GMC Acadia. So first things first is, it is aluminum, so it's really lightweight but it's still able to support up to 500 pounds. Just pretty much the standard you're gonna get from hitch cargo carriers like this. Also, I'm just gonna be focusing on how it fits on this vehicle. So if there's anything I missed or anything you wanna see about the basket, feel free to check out the full product review, or the product page here on etrailer.
How to Set Up Your 32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches on a 2019 GMC Acadia
Hey everyone, Charles, here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the 32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier on our 2019 GMC Acadia. This is gonna be great for freeing up a lot of space in your vehicle for more gear, extra passengers, or pets. A couple reasons why I would prefer a hitch cargo carrier over a roof-mounted one is because it's gonna be a lot easier to load and unload those heavier, bulkier items. And it'll free up space for kayaks and/or fishing poles. From the bumper to the first point of shank rise right here, it's gonna be about five inches before we hit that rise. And the clearance before we open our hatch and make contact is gonna be about 13 inches from when we open it.
etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 GMC Acadia
Zach: Hey, guys. Zach here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer Aluminum Cargo Carrier on our 2019 GMC Acadia. This is going to be a really nice lightweight, easy to use cargo carrier. And when I say lightweight and easy to use, it is. Comparing it to the steel style, it's going to save you a lot of weight, and that just makes it so much easier to handle. Those steel ones are going to be about the same size when it comes to how wide they are, but trying to carry those up to the vehicle can be a little awkward.

As for the ground clearance on this carrier, we're looking at about 17 inches. And from the bumper to the outside edge we are looking at about 39.5 inches.
