Best Dodge Ram Pickup Adjustable Trailer Couplers

This coupler I purchased was not only a replacement for a worn coupler but a significant upgrade. Beware of your original coupler on your trailer, some designs are poor and can cause premature failure of key components leading to complete failure of the coupler. Don’t end up in a ditch with your trailer, use quality replacement parts like those found at etrailer and give yourself piece of mind when towing!

Looks great. The product came to me very quickly. I would have liked to see actual shipping numbers from the carrier.

The sales service by Brittany was excellent. I am replacing the hitch on a new Contractor's trailer that I just purchased with this new bulldog hitch. I was kind of disappointed that the new hitch already had surface rust. I will sand down and paint it before I install so it looks new like the trailer. Overall great experience!

In my opinion this is the best style of trailer couplers I'll never have to wonder if I put the lever down or not while I'm driving down the road because in order the lock this one you have to pull the sleeve back and it's pretty distinct the the lock in not in the sleeve. Pretty freaking hard to forget that when you have a dangling pin that goes behind the sleeve too.

As stated, shipping was poor as far as tracking. USPS has the worst tracking in the business. You can never tell when you are getting your order!

I wanted a part to replace a pintle hitch, on a trailer I was selling. The buyer wanted a regular 2 inch ball. For the price I paid I was expecting a light weight part.The part I got is very well made. and much better than I was expecting for the money. Fit right and all parts needed to install were in the package.

This replaced a pintel hitch setup. Been working flawlessly.

I love the hitch it fit perfectly. Only problem is that the locking pin in the picture was not in the box. That is a very important piece that e sures the locking mechanism wont slide bak causing trailer to come off ball.

As others have noted. I needed to do some grinding to get the coupler to fit in the channel. Other than that it seems to be a good Coupler.

Item delivered quickly for a good price and was exact replacement for the other one. Easy to install since it was identical to old one and came with all necessary hardware .

It's a good trailer coupler, but sadly, someone from etrailer failed to properly package the coupler or I was sent a used one. Either way, I'm not happy with this purchase. Maybe someone from etrailer will contact me and we can have the issue resolved.

This is the best hitch on the market! I've changed over all 4 of my trailers to this hitch. Simple hook/unhook, releases off the ball smooth, no pins to mess with. The included steel bracket (product #DM6125-81) is super heavy duty & so is the hitch itself, plenty heavy for any 2 5/16" trailer. I hacked off my existing hitches w a cutoff saw, welded a plate then the bracket and did each of my trailers , w paint, in less than an hour.

I had to wait a bit for this one, but I wanted this TYPE of coupler so I can lock it with a master lock. This is HEAVY DUTY, really made well and to last more years than I have left on this earth! Easy for me (elder female) to use/easy to latch, unhook. Gives me a great feeling to KNOW this is latched solidly and WON'T jump off the ball...I am so happy with this coupler, and the wait was well worth it!! Photos show the new Bulldog coupler and the replaced white one on the ground.

Super fast shipping. Quality products After years of just using the trailer on the farm I wanted to make it road worthy. The hitch (Bulldog) and wiring harness were the last two items I needed to get it rolling again.

We are a large whitewater rafting company and use Bulldog couplers on all our trailers, hauling boats to and back from the river. We've never had issues with any of them and I'd absolutely recommend this particular product. They are easy to install, easy to operate, and last forever, even in the grueling Arizona climate.

WE liked the coupler as it has three bolts instead of two so it is a security item as we have broken bolts on two bolt set ups. The coupler lasted about one year before it would not latch down any longer and we ordered another one.

I ordered a black coupler set. You told me it would be available in several weeks, by Sept 20 something. I went online to look and you pushed the delivery out until late Oct or early Nov. I called and you actually have one in stock but it's white. I don't care about the color. I asked your rep to sell me the white one for the same price. He refused. How do you get $[XX] more for white??? I paid it as I need the trailer back. You are better than this.

Great upgrade to my heavy trailers. Would be 5 stars if the locking pin hole would accept a larger diameter lock or a padlock.

Channel mount is perfect, installed, well made. Sleeve lock coupler, I was told was superior to std. ball hitch for off road, I thought it would rotate at round sleeve, but no. Coupler does not allow more angle than std. hitch, and can pinch fingers, more difficult to use.

Installed this AWESOME hitch on my 20 ft equipment trailer after I upgraded to 8k axles. This hitch is a beast. I love the no touch when hooking up. Just lower the trailer down and it makes a positive lock sound. I welded the hitch to a 1/2 inch thick plate. Welded the plate onto the trailer and used my own gussets instead of the supplied ones. You won’t go wrong with this hitch!

Exactly what I needed to replace the sloppy pintle hitch on my trailer I’m rebuilding.

I wanted peace of mind towing equipment without the loud pintle hook. This is overkill for what I need but is exactly what I was looking for. The items came quickly, the price is fair, I would buy again.

Seems like a quality product at a good price, you will receive exactly what you see. Box it was shipped in was a little beat up due to the items weight and handling, but didn’t affect contents.

I loved it. It was delivered yesterday and I took it straight to my shop and got it welded up to my trailer to get it back on the road

Nice piece, very well made. Its just as advertised and simple to latch the coupler onto the ball. My trailer came with a pintle hitch and I hated the slop, this is tight, quiet and rated for 10K.
