I put 3 stars because its a useful functional non-harmful roof rack solution for my WRX sedan. This review lost 2 stars because the rubber top pieces get damaged upon any accessory removal or install like(bike, snowboard rails etc). Additionally, these accessories also look to be weathering quickly because of build quality. Hopefully this helps your decision! Thanks

The Rhino Racks Vortex Aero are solid. My first drive with them was to Brighton Utah from Riverside California. They were not only secure throughout the drive and hard winds, they were also reasonably quiet. On top I attached a Thule Force L 628 roof box and it fits perfectly. The only complaints I have are how difficult it was to install the racks to my fixed points. It took several friends, a mechanic, and two days to get everything right.

Bought and installed on my 2019 Honda Fit. I’ve driven from Chicago to Big Bend in TX and to the Black Hills in SD with a cargo box attached and have had zero issues. Installation is simple enough and are easy to take off when needed.

The crossbars came together with all mounting hardware, platforms and legs. Evertyhing arrived together in short time and was raasonably easy to assemble. The quality is good and solid, and all at a good price. A year later, they still look great and perform well. I highly recommend purchasing from etrailer.

Everyone where I live said they were out of the Rhino-Rack roof rack, and they didn't know when they would get it back in stock. I seen it on etrailer.com, so I called and asked if it was really in stock. Steve Z. Took me call and said yes and it would ship out in a day or so. I had never heard of this web site and was a little concerned. Shipping was fast and I received everything I ordered. Received a follow-up email asking if everything was correct and if I had any problems. Great company and great customer service.

This was the kit for my 2020 equinox. The spacing of the feet on the vortex aero bars was incorrect I had to use the Euro sizes. Went back and forth with customer service trying to get confirmation that was the right size but it never was confirmed. Everything is installed now and sturdy.

Roof racks work pretty well once I figured out how to correctly assemble them. The locks serve no purpose. You can get by them with an allen wrench. Had delivery problems that you addressed well.

Great bars. It's my second pair. Both on jeep Grand cherokee. The pair I put on my 2015 overland didn't whistle at all. This pair I put on my 2020 trailhawk whistled starting at 20mph and changed pitch throughout the acceleration process and while causing. I bought a fairing and the problem is solved. At least for now. I put the fairing on wit the label in. Looks better and Rhino Rack isn't paying me to advertise. The fairing they recommended seemed small but works so go with whatever they recommend.

Custom RCP fit Kit was the perfect solution for my 2019 equinox with fixed mounting points. GM seems to have discontinued the cross bars for my model and etrailer is the only place I could source a rhino rack that fit. In the end it saved me 400-500 dollars and helped me avoid having to install something that would interfere with my water seal. No issues with shipping even though I reside in Ontario Canada. Original kit I ordered cake with base for CRV. Quick response when I emailed regarding a return and ordering the correct part. Highly recommend.

This rack works perfectly on my Nissan Versa for carrying my two Perception Sound 9'6" kayaks. The Rhino-Racks look good to me. The kayaks can rest directly on the rubber pads on the rails, unlike the Yakama racks I had in the past that had bare pipe rails. Also, I expect I can buy parts to adapt this product to a different car without having to buy new towers. I am sorry there are not hooks or loops to attach bungees when carrying lumber. They are noisy in the wind, but less so when carrying the kayaks.

Thanks to Etrailer, I am ready to do some serious summer exploring with my 2013 Mazda 3! Rhino Racks, Malone top box, and Kuat bike rack!

Excellent customer service. First set of crossbars was delivered to the wrong address and a second set was mailed out to us arriving in a week.

I was in a roof rack jam. There was a national shortage of the rack I needed for my car and our summer vacation was a week away. I went to etrailer.com when I couldnt find the roof rack anywhere else on the web. Another website actually suggested that they might have what I needed. We have been very happy with our Rhino Rack system atop our 2018 Chevy Express Van. We carry 2 Kayaks ( sit in style, 14 ft and 12 ft) upside down on the van roof and use some eye bolts and ladder supports with ratchet straps to hold them in place. It took a while to get them( due to being out of stock) but eTrailer has excellent customer service and kept in touch with us on the order status until they arrived.

Crossbars are true and straight. Work perfect for my application. Reliable product. Mounted solar panels to them.

Rack looks sturdy. For my 2017 vw Alltrack the rear bar could be replaced for a shorter. On my side picture that is as far back the bar will go (item ja7975). Which it worked out for this application if you want the bar further aft a shorter bar will be needed. The front fit well within it’s range. The car tapers towards the back so back bar is shorter. I also dont like how VW put a notch on the bottom rail. It looks like the straps will be easy to cut with a bolt cutter.
