The Rhino Racks Vortex Aero are solid. My first drive with them was to Brighton Utah from Riverside California. They were not only secure throughout the drive and hard winds, they were also reasonably quiet. On top I attached a Thule Force L 628 roof box and it fits perfectly. The only complaints I have are how difficult it was to install the racks to my fixed points. It took several friends, a mechanic, and two days to get everything right.

Bought and installed on my 2019 Honda Fit. I’ve driven from Chicago to Big Bend in TX and to the Black Hills in SD with a cargo box attached and have had zero issues. Installation is simple enough and are easy to take off when needed.

The crossbars came together with all mounting hardware, platforms and legs. Evertyhing arrived together in short time and was raasonably easy to assemble. The quality is good and solid, and all at a good price. A year later, they still look great and perform well. I highly recommend purchasing from etrailer.

Like the roof racks. They fit well, and are very secure. Fit an finish are good. There is a key lock on each end of the racks, which we can not figure out what it is for. Our only really complaint that we have with these racks is that they tend to generate a bit of wind noise on the road. Very happy with purchase

I ordered the Yakima roof rack, with the Hullyrollers for the back crossbar and the Mako saddles for the front crossbar to use with my kayak. It arrived just like they told me and I put them on my car the eveningit arrived. Got to finlly use the roof rack on June 22 to go out kayaking and it worked great. Only thing is I did not know about the air reflector piece for the front crossbar. Now I will be ordering it to help with the wind noise.

Great rack, go on fast, easy to install and work well on my VW TDI wagon. Care has to be given and follow the instructions for the install to what type of rails you have. Works great carrying the VW luggage carrier and plan on using it to carry kayaks as well. Just have not decided what kayak rack type to get yet.

I seen it on etrailer.com, so I called and asked if it was really in stock. Steve Z. Took me call and said yes and it would ship out in a day or so. I had never heard of this web site and was a little concerned. Shipping was fast and I received everything I ordered. Good looking Roof Rack, fairly easy to install but, I broke one of the end caps and missing an Inner Foot Pad.

Worked as designed. Some measurement needed to cut and install seal between attachment brackets, and little trial and error to center/balance the bar across both points (just as one would with a cargo box).

I've had these on my car for a year now. They are decent for the money and I think they look pretty good too. One very weak point is the plastic end caps. They snap on and are flimsy. I lost one in short order and broke another one sliding a sheet of plywood over it. It would not be hard for them to design a better cap that is fastened better to the rails. I 3D printed new ones that work great and installed with a screw.

Excellent customer service. First set of crossbars was delivered to the wrong address and a second set was mailed out to us arriving in a week.

I was in a roof rack jam. There was a national shortage of the rack I needed for my car and our summer vacation was a week away. This rack works perfectly on my Nissan Versa for carrying my two Perception Sound 9'6" kayaks. The Rhino-Racks look good to me. The kayaks can rest directly on the rubber pads on the rails, unlike the Yakama racks I had in the past that had bare pipe rails. Also, I expect I can buy parts to adapt this product to a different car without having to buy new towers. I am sorry there are not hooks or loops to attach bungees when carrying lumber. They are noisy in the wind, but less so when carrying the kayaks.

We have been very happy with our Rhino Rack system atop our 2018 Chevy Express Van. We carry 2 Kayaks ( sit in style, 14 ft and 12 ft) upside down on the van roof and use some eye bolts and ladder supports with ratchet straps to hold them in place. It took a while to get them( due to being out of stock) but eTrailer has excellent customer service and kept in touch with us on the order status until they arrived.

Crossbars are true and straight. Work perfect for my application. Reliable product. Mounted solar panels to them.

Rack looks sturdy. For my 2017 vw Alltrack the rear bar could be replaced for a shorter. On my side picture that is as far back the bar will go (item ja7975). Which it worked out for this application if you want the bar further aft a shorter bar will be needed. The front fit well within it’s range. The car tapers towards the back so back bar is shorter. I also dont like how VW put a notch on the bottom rail. It looks like the straps will be easy to cut with a bolt cutter.
