Best 2022 Jeep Renegade Cargo Carriers

Put the Rhino Rack on a 2017 Jeep Renegade. The cargo basket assembly was easy. Also installed RockyMounts Ouray rails to mount the rack on. Looks great. As with most roof accessories, there is some wind noise. Really like the Rhino rack construction and durability.

I was a little concerned about installing this, but when I was quoted $80 an hour I said, "I might as well try" I was surprised and thrilled at how easy this was to put together. The only problem I had was with the rubber that went over the areas where the two parts fit together, but a blow dryer loosed up the rubber and that problem was solved. I think this looks great and will definitely do what I want. I am happy with the service, ordered on the 18th and received on the 20th! WOW FAST service. I would recommend this company and product to anyone.

Put this on an 2023 Rav 4 Hybrid- Easy to put together. You might need two people to get it up on top. Strong. Will create some wind noise after install. Solid build and construction.

The reason I bought this basket is due to gas prices. I have a 4X4 suburban I use for camping and hunting but it takes a small loan to fill up the tank. Actually this basket cost less than it does to fill it up. So my thought was if i can get all my gear on my daily driver then i could save some money and maybe even sale the burb. So i gave it a shot last weekend. The rack was easy to put together. I had it out of the box and on the roof in under 30 minutes. As you can see in the pic, i have a rather large ice chest, chain saw, 6 man tent, gas stove and my chair on the roof. My camping destination was about 3 hours away. First was a hour of highway driving at speeds around 70. No issues there. Then 2 hours of windy back roads. No issues there either. The basket made it possible for me and my two kids to load up in the car and head to the hills for three days. The plus for me was it only takes 50$ to fill up the car. :-) I had the max weight in this basket with no issues. I'm very happy with this basket.

My 9 year old and I were able to assemble and install this in about an hour. The anti rattle bolt recommended in the video, and the lights, were great additions and I definitely recommend them too. Handled a 900 mile round trip around the northeast and had plenty of room to bring Xmas presents home in the Curt waterproof cargo bag.

This is a solid Cargo carrier. I was originally looking for a rooftop carrier but I came to realize that a cargo carrier is a far superior option for increased weight and size, ease of access, stability and aerodynamic. Although this one doesn't fold up, there is still adequate space to access the rear hatch on my SUV.

Works great, sits low is almost as wide as my renegade, doesn't weigh much but is plenty sturdy, doesn't make an unreasonable amount of wind noise and make a great mount for off-road lights take the time to read and measure to install it correctly and it sits stable hasn't moved in close to 10,000 miles after the initial install and tightening, also a great way to move tough bulky items out of a limited interior compartment, like highlight Jack's and other weather proof off-road essentials

I love this basket! Once I centered on cross braces, it was easy to leave the connectors in same spot. Also, low enough profile to drive in and out my garage. We have a screen door so that made it a shorter height than traditional garage door.

Excellent! Only issue regarding shipping box a bit battered - but product packed well. Also, hardware missing ie a single washer, which was replaced with one of my own.

Excellent car top carrier (not that I've had many to compare it to). Easy to install and remove, sturdy, and fits well on our Toyota Siena. Opening it is a little tricky, as sometimes the top sticks to the bottom a bit. Adds a lot of extra storage to our car, great for when we go camping. Great experience with etrailer.

Excellent roomy cargo box. My wife’s luggage even fit (see photo). Fit the top of my Forester like it was meant to be there and the hatch opens without obstruction. Great shipping by etrailer.com via Estes freight shipping (almost overkill on shipping).

I have been dealing with etrailer for years and once again received a great product in a very timely manner, also as usual very well packaged. I ordered this rack first of all because of its weight. 24lbs! The cost also. So many pay high prices for a label. Not me. Very easy to put together on the kitchen counter and of course being so light easy to handle. An important aspect is, DO NOT tighten the bolts until you are totally done. Do not drop the bolts and washers in the channel! For that purpose I used a thin needle nose plier to hold the bolt and once lined up with the hole pushed it in with the tool suplied. I added a drop of Blue Loctite also to each bolt for a peace of mind. You will have left over nuts and bolts, no worries! Probably a uniform nuts and bolts package designed for a few different rooftop baskets. There is one error on page one of the instruction. The "Base PLatform" is the "Side Platform" [2] and the "Side PLatforms" are the "Base Platforms" [2]. It was easy to figure out the error. Thanks.

This is a great product. As described, easy to assemble, light weight. I needed a solution to carry my spare tire for my 2020 Forrest River NOBO 16.2. The NOBO line comes with Rhino tracks to put accessories on them. The camper has the tire mounted on the bumper, but I needed space for a bike rack. I ordered Aero Bars and mounts from etrailer, and this basket as well as the tie down. Worked Great!!!

Excellent roof rack for the Jeep!

I just installed this basket with the extender. I am totally pleased with it's quality and easy of assembly. I did ask etrailer about the fit for a 93 Wrangler with a Smittybilt rack (pics included). I was told that the rack without the extender would not fit so I ordered the package. They were correct, it had to have the extender but not for the reason they told me. the spacing between the rails for the rack were OK but the middle rail on the rack placed the brackets for the basket directly over the cloth top frame and they rubbed, which would have worn the top. I am glad I ordered the extender. One thing: I tried to order the light bracket kit but it was OOS so they told me they would not send anything until those were in. I needed the basket now and did not want to wait for the entire order(and pay interest on my credit card). I cancelled the order and then did reorder just the basket and extender later. Now I will have to pay shipping on the light brackets. In all-I love that basket-it looks great, the fit and finish is perfect and it's strong beyond expectations.

I've taken one 1500 mile trip so far with the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 mounted on my RAV4. I found the box to be quiet and not to have much impact on gas mileage. I lost maybe 1 mpg with it mounted to my flush mounted Whisperbars. I drove through some very heavy rain and had a minimal amount of water inside under a thin rubber mat I had placed on the bottom of the box; none on my luggage got wet. This box works great to give me more carrying capacity when traveling with my two crated Dobermans.

Perfect fit on my 2014 Jetta Sportwagen. Lets me accomodate my lighter weight camping gear and leave the heavier stuff in the car. Very secure and aerodynamic and had very little impact on my mileage. My only issue was I could never find the serial number on my rocketbox.

I love this unit! I’m an avid Camper and Jeeper. My rig has big tires including the spare that requires additional clearance. In addition to hauling my gear, I had concerns about ground clearance off roading and stability. This unit exceeded my expectations on every point! I can even open the tailgate with the unit on and it still has enough clearance to fold up when not loaded. In addition to a great product, the order was confirmed and shipped same day and on my doorstep two days later. It was pretty easy to put together but having a second person to help and fit it on the first time is helpful. Great product!

Easy assembly. Took about 15 minutes. Includes everything needed, even 2 wrench tools! Feels sturdy and well made. Feels just like our other one( curt brand)

Excellent choice, super dynamic for its size. Owned it for a year now. I’ve put it on two cars, and I’ve used it several times. It’s gotten our family to and from the campsite and moving a few times. If wanted during the seasons, you can easily take it off by using the available key.

I’ve got several 1400+ mile trips with this on both a 2017 4Runner and a 2023 Kia Sportage. The basket is well made, easy to install, very solid and so far rust free.

The product arrived quickly and in good condition. I haven't used it yet, just mounted and unmounted it. It seems to be just what I needed and expected. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the assembly instructions were a bit unclear about having the 2 bottom flats turned the same way. At first glance you may not notice there is a difference between right side and wrong side up. If you make that mistake you will find yourself unbolting everything and starting over about 3/4 of the way into the build. And, the plastic adapter for 1-1/4" to 2" hitches seems a bit cheesy and causes a very slight offset in the mount to one side.

Once it was together, I really liked it. It wasn’t that easy to put together and it required metric tools which I had to search for. It worked well and it was very useful.

I recieved my order in just a couple of days. It was easy to assemble and fits as advertised. Thanks to Etrailer for their great service.

The Yakima OffGrid medium rack arrived yesterday at about 10:30 a.m. It was fully unpacked/assembled/installed by about 11:45. etrailer did a fine job of communicating/pricing/delivering and supporting this good product. I've been using Yakima products (and others) for biking, paddling, fishing etc. for about 45 years. This rack is a serious solution to a variety of uses of a roof rack. I will be able to use it on various vehicles and for a number of applications (sports, chores,travel etc.) It has more flexibility than most racks and I can't imagine a more durable, quality design. My particular needs, being in my "Dotage", are met by the ability to remove the cross bars and fairing for an open platform, or keep them on and custom fit to a spare tire, or bike rack, kayak rack etc. The attaching mechanisms drew my attention. I put this on the car with solo and with caution using a protective mat. It is very manageable and easy to fit. These mechanisms for tightening down on the crossbars bring the added value (and cost) to folks like me that don't want to spend a lot of time and effort installing a rooftop rack. I wanted secure, solid attachment with simplicity. The OffGrid delivers! No pain killers needed after the install! This "Medium" OffGrid is more than adequate for my initial uses. The internal and external dimensions are pretty much ideal for this 2017 Sienna. A full size spare tire will fit just right. A nice fit for a canoe as well. I admit to scouring the internet and considering dozens of products from baskets to platforms and this OffGrid showed a lot of promise. Its versatility and ruggedness competes with the best designs at about half the price of many. My thoughts included the extension bracket, but the medium OffGrid really does meet most of my expectations and needs for various applications. Now, to the matter of noise. There is wind noise. However, for me, it simply blends into the symphony of white noise that comes with highway travel (and the ringing in my ears) :)......Of all the racks, bikes, canoes,kayaks ladders, lumber, etc., etc. that I have carried on car tops, the wind sounds of this carrier are negligible. The fairing is a nice, well thought out feature that works well. So, my five star rating is for both the product and the vendor. Once again "eTrailer" has proven themselves to be one of the best sources of such products nationwide. Their product information efforts are an industry leader and they deserve credit for providing extremely helpful product reviews and explanations. That's what got me to choose them on this purchase. Those of us well into our "Dotage" appreciate learning all we can!

Great cargo rack! Well made and strong. We modified ours to carry our ebikes on top of our generator and cooler. We've been from coast to coast with no problems.

Used it a hand full of times for camping with two different SUVs and its been great. Once over 2000 miles round trip. With the waterproof bag you can hold more gear since it goes above the side rails. Just be careful if your driveway slopes down you’ll lightly scrape the ground when backing out. And if you have a smaller suv or car make sure you center the heaviest items or it will feel it pulling back and forth on the freeway.

Got the CC-100 for my travel trailer along with a lockable rattle proof lock pin and 20 Cu.Ft. etrailer cargo bag.I added some reflective tape on the back and sides. Ready to roll...

Well done Yakima and etrailer. Great product and great service. The product is well made (in Taiwan....not China) and the parts and instruction video made it relatively" easy to install. Two people helps to install it more readily. The wind diffuser in the front greatly reduces wind noise. All in all very happy and glad I bought through etrailer. Service was excellent and delivery prompt.

I am very happy with both the initial quality of the Load Warrior and how nice the eTrailer people are to deal with... The product seems well thought out and there are a bunch of accessories to mount most anything...

Initial quality was excellent and assembly a snap. Finding a roof basket that wouldn't look like a tiny hat on a Jeep Commander was difficult, but the MegaWarrior is perfect! Assembly and mounting took less than an hour and it looks great. Now it just needs to be outfitted with a set of off-road lights. ;-)

The MegaWarrior is a great Roof Rack. The only thing I didn’t like was the fit to the roof rails. My rails that I purchased from you are shaped like aircraft wings and the basket clamps seem to be designed for round rails. However I was able to complete the attachment and the rack remained secure for a 2,000 mile trip.
