Best 2018 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts

About a year ago, I bought a new to me truck that needed a 2.5" hitch. I love this 3 in 1 setup. I really like that it stows and I can always have it back there. I haven't used the 1 7/8" yet, but there are plenty of old trailers out there that would need it at some point. I have used the 2" & 2 5/16" plenty. It's sturdy, looks good, and is super convenient, what's not to like about it.

Why did I wait so long to buy this awesome hitch! (I guess because i had my doubts, given the cost). This has been so useful as I have 4 bumper pull trailers with 3 sizes of balls. I dont move them all the time, but when i do use them, i often find myself using more than one in a day. I told my neighbor about my experience and he bought one for each of his trucks. It is SO easy to change the size...like 10-15 seconds

Pretty nice. Definitely heavy duty. By chance it is even color matched to my truck. I will probably change out the ball pin it’s to long and the twistie pin seems like it could fail if it’s vibrating to much.

Great price and super fast shipping! The hitch is heavy duty and meets my needs to tow my 35 ft center console. When the trailer is level, the bottom of the ball coupler is 28” off the ground so I needed something with a 10 to 12” rise to compensate for some of the sag in the truck suspension when loaded down by the trailer.

I have been using the Rapid Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount hitch for over a year averaging 3 days a week delivering new compact diesel tractors to customers. The hitch has held up very well with no signs of wear. The Teflon black caps on the ball are awesome when hitching up, there is no problem with the receiver sliding onto the ball when miss aligned. My usage of your hitch is a bit unusual, I think. I pull a two ton roller with my Ram and I've used your cushioned hitch to smooth out the process. The roller Lunette just dropped over a 2" ball and then banged and jerked on the ball neck. Check out the photos for my adaptation.. I can flip it over and use the 2" ball! Have enclosed some photos. We have a Pink Tractor (google Mom's Pink Tractor) that we pull to events, mainly in Ks, Ok, Mo, and Ne. We have around 35 events a year we take the tractor to to promote breast cancer awareness. The other day my wife and I were leaving for an event, i had let a friend borrow the hitch to see how he liked it. In less then a mile from the house my wife started complaining about the trailer jerking. That is coming from a lady that really was upset when I paid that much for a hitch. She told me to stop and buy one. (a long and expensive trip, we had to stop at a casino so she could rest her neck) I could write a review with a lot of trailer talk, but, this story tells the story.

This ball mount has served it purpose well. I purchased a new travel trailer that is heavy enough to require a weight distribution hitch when using the factory installed Class III hitch on our Dodge RAM 2500. I decided to upgrade to a Class V hitch combined with this ball mount to take delivery of the TT in order to defer decisions about a WD hitch until the actual load conditions were known. The hour trip home with this setup worked very well. Once the trailer was outfitted I was able to determine the actual tongue weight of the loaded trailer and I decided to purchase an appropriately sized Reese Straight Line WD hitch. However, this ball mount comes in handy for moving the trailer short distances without hassling with the WD system. The purchase experience through etrailer.com was first rate.

Love the height adjustment for all 3 of my trailers suuper solid, I get compliments all the time when people see it "wow that things stout!" Keeps the trailer tongue from excessive bobbing, the pins it came with are a huge improvement from the standard Bobby pin style I was used to. Over all I do not regret a dollar spent and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an initial purchase or upgrade their tow life

This hitch is amazing!!! Be prepared though it is very heavy! I love how easy it is to adjust to different heights and ball sizes with the 2 common sizes provided. The scale on the back can be helpful to let you know if you have the proper trailer weight. The more you use it the more you will like it!

We sold our small motor home and purchased a small travel trailer. This hitch provided a perfect solution to how to use our bike rack while towing the trailer. It even allows room for the pickup tailgate to be lowered without removing the bikes from the rack. The hitch is very hefty with a high weight limit - plenty for the GVW of the trailer (7,000#) plus 125# of rack and bikes.

This has been an amazing multipurpose ball mount. We purchased this to use with our Hollywood Bike Rack and also to connect onto our boat. We weren't sure if this would work, but it was awesome. It is very well built and We had to make some minor adjustments to the position of our boat on the trailer so the turning radius of the bike rack that was attached would clear the truck. This is very well made and solid.

Great hitch, extremely high quality and smooths out the ride nicely. Added length also helps on shallower boat ramps keeping the truck out of the water that much more. Only downside is it is EXTREMELY HEAVY.

I've had this ball mount for a couple years now. Just got home from a 2500 mile trip hauling a 2K# camper down I10 to the beach in South Texas. It earned it's keep on the rollers just outside San Antonio where the pavement gets super wavy and the truck and trailer gets out of sync. I expect without the Gen-Y, the trailer would have been banging on the ball possibly popping loose. Instead, it just bobbed around independent of the truck movement, really nice.

Excellent hitch for my sled trailer! When bringing our 5 snowmobiles up north with the open deck trailer, tongue bounce felt like you were riding a bucking bronco the journey. This trailer hitch took 95% of the tongue bounce OUT! The trailer smoothly rides down the road with little to no jerkiness in the cab of the F150. I will definitely recommend this hitch to others!

Both connecting lock n roll products are a great addition to my project roof top tent, utility, kayak mounted, Solar energy equipped overland adventure trailer. Heavy duty. Using on stock 2009 Dodge 3500 4x4. Last hole on adjustment is not used. So setting in the above image is all that is needed. FIO. I bought pin locks to keep someone from stealing my hitch. So far , so good.

Sent me the wrong hitch. Ordered the 6” drop, received the 4” drop. Hitch itself is ok, powder coating wore off ball and where it goes into receiver on first use.

Love these hitches. This is my second one. Honestly, it will save you money. One month a few years ago, I spent $300 on hitches because I would forget or did not have the right height, ball, etc. finally bought a b/w and never had a problem again.
