Softride Shuttle Pad Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks - Up to 6 Bikes - 61" Wide
Doesn't seem to fit the 2024 Chevrolet High Country tailgate as the straps aren't long enough. Also, the padding doesn't go far enough down the outside of the tailgate. Could be because I have the factory bed protection which covers the top of the tailgate.
The product review/installation video helped me make my selection. I selected the full size pad for 2001 Silverado 1500. Installs easily, fits nicely, flap in pad is positioned for easy access to tailgate latch.

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Seems like a good rack for the price, especially when compared to others with the same weight rating. It was very easy to assemble, just a few bolts and that's it. I put two 62lb e-bikes on it (Ride1Up Turris) and it has minimal wobble and movement as expected. The straps that come on the center cradles were too short to go around our bike's frame and battery so I had to purchase a separate set of long straps from Saris for an additional $20. So be aware if you have an e-bike with a fat frame where you plan to use the cradle on, you might have to spend another $20 on a pair of long straps. While I waited for the straps I just used a velcro-strap and it worked fine. So far I am content with this rack overall and hope it lasts many years.. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to purchase additional straps to make it work.
I had to put my electric bikes into this rack, backwards, to make them fit. Not ideal, but it works. The receiving 'trays' that are intended to provide support for holding the bikes, by being placed under the bike tires, are forced to be moved to a location that is not directly under the bottom of the bike tires. While it works in this manner, it is not ideal. For the support that attaches to the diagonal bike frame, we had to remove it from the vertical rail of the rack. We reinstalled it, upside down, because that's the only way we could make it fit, or 'grab', the bike frame. Again, we made it work, but it's not ideal. We chose to keep the rack because it was so much less expensive than the Thule rack we considered buying. The bike shop owner didn't agree with us. He observed that we are putting $3000 worth of bikes on the rack and risking that investment. So far, no problems, other than the ill-fitting installation.

Saris Traps Fork-Block 3 Bike Rack - Triple Track - 47" Long - 9-mm Skewer
This works perfectly in my 2007 Nissan Quest minivan. I am able to securely and rapidly store and transport 3 bikes wile keeping 3 seats usable in the van. The base is heavy enough that it stays put so that the bikes stay still and do not knock into each other on the trip. I *might* be able to fit 4 bikes in there, but only if I put down another seat, leaving room for only 2 passengers, so I'll say 3 bikes and 3 people in my minivan is the sweet spot for this. It really is nice that I can load them so rapidly and that the bikes do not have to touch each other.
the product is very good from a durability stand point. But lacking a bit when it comes to flexibility of design. The platform at which the traps are attached could be further re-designed to include the ability to extend or contract to provide a better fit whether the application will be inside the back of a van or on a truck bed. Also some additional suggestion would be looking at ways to anchor the track when use inside a van or SUV. The price I paid for this product i would consider high because of the lack of versatility in terms of use. Would i recommend it? well if you are looking for a nice looking track with traps this would be your choice. Don't get me wrong the quality is very good I just wish a bit more thought was put into it before pricing it. There are other more economical ways to reproduce what this product can be used for; for a lot lot less.

Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On
Love this product! I built a great bike carrying system for my F-150 using two of these fork clamps. They are easy to install and extremely well made. No more tangled bikes and lots more room in the bed for other stuff! Best way to go for a nice bike rack system. Thanks, Phil T.
The Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On, is just what I was looking for to be able to build a bike rack for carrying one of my bikes on my motorcycle. It was easy to mount and it holds my bike in place while riding on bumpy dirt roads, city streets, highways and even when I hit some twisty country roads. It's really easy to load and unload my bike when I get to where I want to ride. I use a velcro strap around the quick-release and the fork arm as an added safety as well as a couple tie-downs from my bike handlebars to my motorcycle passenger pegs to help distribute the weight on my rack. If you want to build your own DIY bike rack I totally recommend the Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
After shopping around for bike racks I found this great bike rack that would mount on my 2 inch hitch. I was a little concerned because Ive never heard of the brand but decided it wasntvthat much so I would give it a try. After having it on my Titan for a month traveling around and off roading with 2 mountain bikes Ibwas plesently surprised. Held up well, bikes didnt move . Very easy to put on and remove. Great bike rack.
This is a well designed rack. Adding and removing bikes is quick & easy. Just set the bike on & slide the padded hook down onto the bike frame to secure it; no straps required. If only one bike is transported, it does not interfere with opening the trunk on our Tesla Model 3. With 2 bicycles the trunk cannot be opened. For 2 bikes the Swagman model that can tilt might be worth the extra 22 bucks. This rack uses a bolt in the receiver hitch instead of a pin. This locks it securely preventing it from moving in the hitch & rattling. It also requires a wrench to remove it, good for theft prevention but one more thing to keep track of. For storage on the vehicle the top bar folds down. For storage in the garage, the left & right bars fold up & you can hang it using one of the hooks.

Curt Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
This rack has worked well for us. I fits the Curt hitch perfectly. It is easy to attach bicycles securely. We can get three adult bicycles on this hitch (see photo). There are sufficient means to protect against sway.
This Curt bike carrier is ideal for my front hitch that I recently installed on my 2005 GMC. I had to remove my front tag holder for clearance but it works perfectley. It can be easily removed and installed on the back hitch when I'm not towing my camper. This is a well built and solid bike carrier. It was delivered very timely and well packaged.

Swagman Tailwhip Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks - Up to 5 Bikes - 61" Wide
This product fits over the tailgate of our full size pick up. We bought this product because we wanted to take our bikes with us on our camping trips. We had a receiver bike rack but needed some way to carry our bikes securely while pulling our travel trailer. We also wanted to be able to carry our grandkids bikes. We have secured at least 5 bikes with the Swagman Tailwhip Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack. The only problem we had was that the velcro tie downs didn't fasten as tight as we would have liked. We have used additional bungie cords to keep the bikes in place. That is the reason this review did not get a 5 star. We are very happy with this product.
Product was delivered sooner than expected and is of good quality. Fits 2016 Tundra perfectly. Placement took less than 5 mins, and removal takes about 10 seconds. Mine came with a click strap on the flap where the handle/camera are, which is used to fold flap back over tailgate leaving the camera available for use but securing the flap on backside of tailgate. The video does not show that but to me is a great feature.

The Claw Fork Mount Bike Rack for 1 Bike - 9-mm Skewer
Holds my bike securely in the back of my truck. Quick and easy to loosen or tighten. Recommend to anyone making their own bike rack.
These are very nice fork cleats, powdercoated steel and neatly welded. I did need to drill them to 3/8" mounting holes as my bed rail takes 3/8" hardware and these come with 5/16". Once that minor step was complete I was able to bolt them to my bed rail easily. I would recommend these over aluminum fork cleats to anyone putting together a custom bike rack.
What our customers are saying:
"Sent out an e-mail to you earlier this week asking which hitch woudld be the best choice for installing on a 2000 Venture van for hauling a bike rack with two bikes. You suggested the one that would be easiest to install..received in a matter of days..installation went great ..very well thought out instructions. Everything went smooothly and the hitch is up nice and snug..doesn't stick out..looks great."
