Best 2016 Toyota RAV4 Vehicle Heaters

Well this item installed on my 2020 Toyota RAV4 did fit but it is not as easy as with earlier models and located on the front left hand side (down low) instead of on the right hand side bank. I used the factory block heater installation instructions as a guide but found some of the steps unnecessarily (for example removing the air box). In any case be prepared to do a lot of it by feel because you cannot see the hole it slides into in the block unless you use a mirror and flashlight. The installation process took me about 2 hours.

Expensive shipping getting to canada(Quebec) but it was fast enough.

Have not installed yet, but looks well designed and should work as advertised. This will be replacing a factory injection system on an old IH D260 tractor. I have been able to order and receive overnight a bottle of ether from NAPA.

The product wasn't a proper fit at all for the vehicle. I had to modify it by cutting the thickness on the plug end with a hacksaw, to go past the engine case edge. Created a flat spot. Otherwise it wouldn't insert properly into the cavity in the engine. It would have to be all one diameter if designed properly. Not sized or designed well. Now that it's installed it seems to work ok.

2015 Hyundai Sonata 2.4 install. Have to remove air intake, very tight to get it in just enough space. Had to trim a little bit to make it fit but nothing ever fits perfect. Picture say it all.

I needed a frost plug core heater for my tractor. The one I bought did not have my tractor as an application. Just autos and trucks. The measurements were exactly what I needed as well as the wattage. I called a rep to confirm that the measurements were accurate and took a chance and bought it. Heater is good but it didn't fit in the frost plug hole that had the existing heater in. This replacement had a longer element and it touched the inside of block no matter what angle i turned it and would not seal properly. I think if it was in one of the other frost plugs maybe it would work? I have ordered many other block heaters from here with no issues. Like I said prob fits in different frost plug location so beware have a plan b ready. Hard to give bad review at these prices

Install was a little tricky given the location for my vehicle 2012 F150. But other than that pretty straight forward. Packaging was good and product seems well put together. Only time will tell if it works well. I'm not in the cold climate yet. It also does come with the 3 prong as advertised.

Product is fine but, the installation instructions are terrible. Even contacting the manufacturer for the mounting instructions, terrible. Found the mounting place on YouTube. What's up with this?

Easy to install, but the heater cord passes to close of the exhaust manifold, they should provide a heat shield in the kit. Excellent product.

Shipping was very fast (2 days) from Florida to Boise.. I have not installed the block heater yet. I'm driving home to Alaska soon and I'll have my mechanic install it there. Required in Alaska for even for gas engines

80% perfect fit! The only thing missing is 90 degree angle for the power cord at the heater(like GM original) also the power cord is not long enough for 2017 Canyon! Otherwise excellent for the price!

This heater is being used to supplement an existing heater in a van. I like that it was very easy to install. I also like the physical size of the heater. After using it throughout some cold days in November I felt that it might be best suited for a very small enclosed space, like the size of a tractor cab in temperatures that don't go below 45F. I wouldn't recommend it for an area larger than 300 cubic feet. I can barely feel the heat emitting from the unit when my hand is 6 inches directly in front of it. I went into the purchase with fairly low expectations so I'm glad that I didn't spend more than $[XX] to purchase this heater.

Fast shipping from e-trailer. Wired in a 30 amp socket with it's own fuse to plug this into. Figure engine off 12v --> at 300 watts = 25 amps. engine running 13.8v --> 22 amps. Used the heater in a test today, 25°F. Tested two conditions. 1) engine off: virtually no heat in 150w setting some heat on 300w setting. 2) engine running: amount of heat one would expect at both settings. Apparently it is very sensitive to voltage. bought it to pre-heat the truck interior. Oh well.

The heater could have been fantastic, however after a couple days - run time 2.5 hrs each day - the heater stopped producing much heat. Not sure if it's a short or the heater coil but the unit became a noisy fan that didn't blow much air. Disappointing.
