This hitch is perfect. It's great quality and it bolted up easily. Took me just over 1 hour to install.
I was totally amazed at the quality and the fit to my truck this hitch went on so easy even though I have a brush guard on this truck also. This item went on in about 45 minutes and that was to unpack it and get out the tools start to finish.

I had reviewed the installation instructions online and had removed the bolts and trimmed the fascia before the hitch arrived. I used giant heavy duty zip tie to tie one side up close to mounting point and the raised and maneuvered hitch into place. Then installed the bolts. Did this by myself. Hand tightened bolts, then used jack on receiver to get it to sit as high as possible and then tightened the bolts. Installed my Young Electric Mate R bicycle rack on it. Works perfectly!
Perfect fit for my 2024 RAM 2500. Be sure to have the right sockets for the work and having an impact drill/wrench will save your muscles. Even a $25 electric impact power tool from Harbor Freight does the job. Breaker bar is ok, but you need the impact to help loosen those bolts holding the "crash bracket" to the frame (2-bolts each side). Installation itself was easy. I did it by myself in maybe 1-hr, having all the tools lined up in advance. Have all the cutouts done beforehand. When backing out the old bolts, keep one on each end to help the 'crash brackets' keep in place and not drop. I did end up using the provided washers as shims in between front tow hitch mount location and the "crash brackets" (as per instruction). Just make sure you use a dowel or flat tip screw driver so that the washers don't slip or drop down. Tighten to specs and blue loctite the threads and you should be GTG. I did notice a little 'pointing downward' of the hitch but realized that the back end of my truck is higher than the front end, so when weight is added to the back, it 'should' level out. Not an issue if using front hitch for winch or additional tow shackle but if you have something extending out further (cargo carrier or bike rack) please take note. If your truck is lifted 2" or more, should be non-issue. Would definately buy again and recommend to others with a 2024 RAM 2500 Tradesman.

The fit was a bit too tight but we were able to make it fit. The shipping packing was pretty lacking. Since being installed we have been using it with a spare tire mount. That works great and it makes the spare tire more accessible compared to the standard under the bed mounting. When fully loaded with a camper and towing a boat moving the spare tire to the front improves the weight distribution.
Curt actually recommended that we use etrailer. They even gave me the confirmation that the hitch would work and told us you have a video. Thanks!

This hitch is definitely heavy duty and mounts securely. It does not block airflow to the radiators or interfere with the bumper proximity sensors. It deserves 5 stars from that perspective. But I give it 4 stars because unfortunately the distance between the side plates was 3/4" too narrow to rotate into place. It would not clear the frame rails, brackets, and spacers. Actually it wouldn't even clear the frame rails alone. My son and I read the instructions many times and experimented with every possible angle (which is a major hassle while supporting the hitch under the truck) and finally took the matter into our own hands. We used a high lift jack situated between the side plates to bend them outward. Then the hitch fit perfectly. Getting the bumper lined back up was another headache, but not because of the hitch.
Seems nice and solid, should be strong enough to haul my 425lb motorcycle + 60lb carrier. Based on some of the reviews about what a pain it was to install I decided not to mess with it and take it to a hitch shop. They confirmed some of the complaints I read here so it was money well spent.

I purchased this front receiver hitch for my 2010 Ford E350 RV to use for a utility basket, launch a 16' boat and now also for a motorcycle carrier. The quality is excellent and full weight rating, one year later and the finish is perfect. Installation was exactly as stated in the directions and the modifications were minor, requiring existing holes in the frame forward of any critical mounts drilled larger and the plastic under the front bumper where a tag goes has to be cut slightly to allow for receiver. The directions called for removal of under carriage splash guard but I was able to trim and reinstall. I am perfectly happy with the purchase. When hauling a motorcycle on the front the RV rides so much smoother and better planted on the road without being overloaded.
Mounted it in a couple hours, relatively easy installation. Having to drill the mounting hole bigger took me by surprise but that's on me for not watching the installation video before buying. This is the only front hitch option for 2017 E450 RV chassis. It mounts rock solid. Standing and bouncing on it, there is no play in the hitch or the mounting point. Standing and bouncing on the hitch- the entire front suspension gives but the mount does not budge. I no longer hesitate about mounting a small motorcycle on the front of the RV- this hitch is made of metal as thick as the RV frame itself.

Great products, great prices, fast shipping and a great company to do business with. Easy install, and it took longer to trim the air dam than installing the hitch.
Great solid piece, as you would expect. Extra longer bolts are included in case you have the factory tow hooks, a nice touch and saves $10 at the hardware store. Not a complaint, just info; you have to remove the bumper to fit the front bolts, they won't drop in past the bumper brackets at least on my '95. Cut a hole and some minor trimming, and it works with the factory air dam as well.

I mounted this hitch on the front of my 2500 HD Chevy with the intent to haul a generator to use when pulling a travel trailer. The installation when well, and I am very satisfied with the product.
This front receiver mount is exactly what I needed. Great build quality and easy to install. Thanks for getting it to me in a timely manner.

It is a great hitch I have a front rack that’s on it now to haul my generator and fire wood also I’ll be using it for my bike rack to haul my e-bike with , did lose my mind on the bolts I did get some help to get them in,tho my patience ran out, but all in all it’s a great hitch.
Added to use with a front winch. The install was not too difficult and the included instructions were spot-on. On my F250, the front tow hooks add to the strength of holding the hitch to the frame. On the F250 you do lose the OEM fog light location, but I used the wiring to add/relocate after-market fog lights. The set up has already proven helpful, pulling me out of a snow back while plowing. Just what I needed for some summer off road camping as well.

I bought this receiver to add front mounted 'accessories' on my 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. I plan on using this to add an extra bicycle rack, a cargo basket, a receiver mounted winch or other 'accessories' needed for my Jeep when I take my family camping. It will also be useful for "front launching" a boat or parking a trailer in tight spots. It took me about an hour to install, although I had already previously removed the lower wind deflector cowling, so did not have to spend time removing it or cutting it for a finished look. Detaching and moving the top trim panel between the grill and the bumper is a must to facilitate the installation. The receiver fits pretty close, although you do have to manipulate it to get the holes to line up with the frame. Follow the instructions and do not tighten any of the bolts until you get it lined up and all the bolts in loosely, then torque it down. As noted in the instruction sheet, the driver's side of the receiver does not sit flush against the frame, there is about a 1/4" to 5/8" gap. The instructions say to use the extra split washers (in the kit) as filler, but they would just rattle around loose in there and provide any benefit, so I omitted them. Once tightened down, the receiver tube was not parallel to the ground, it is slightly higher in the front, sloping towards the rear. It is not off enough to affect my intended use, but may be bothersome to those with type 'A' attention to detail. Overall a good product that will add a lot of flexibility to my Jeep~
2nd hitch, both fit up great. Left off the roll pan and built our own cover for the sway bar disconnect.

I got the hitch for a 2004 dodge 2500. I put it on the front of the truck to haul a motorcycle. It works great and all you can see is the hitch opening. Works great.
Installed on 2005 Dodge 2500 with no issues. Overall project took about 2.5 hours by myself. I am not a mechanic nor have a huge assortment of tools. Couple tips: instructions say 12mm, but actually need 18 mm. No need to support bumper as long as you don’t push the bolts all the way out. A floor jack made it much easier to lift the hitch into place.

Well built. Very tight fit on my ‘17 2500 Silverado. Getting the hitch into the proper position was more of a challenge than I expected. It took two people to install it. One to apply leverage and the second to install the bolts once the holes lined up. Minor cutting on the metal support for the bottom edge of the front end. I’m sure I could have avoided the cutting if I could have figured out how to disassemble the bumper. We got it all done in a few hours. The packaging could be better. The were holes in the box where the hitch broke through but all the parts were present and it’s kind of hard to damage this receiver. The only reason I didn’t rate five stars is that I couldn’t install it alone and the receiver does appear to be fabricated about 1/4” off center. Both of these I consider to be minor problems but problems nonetheless. Knowing everything I know now after getting the install completed, I would purchase this item again. I would also recommend this receiver to anyone looking for a front hitch for a ‘17 2500 Silverado.
Quality hitch and the excellent service all the way around I'm used to getting from etrailer over the years. Installed on my 2016 Sierra Denali 2500HD, note instructions say on first line down that it does not fit the Denali trim due to extensive fascia cutting required; actually it was quite simple with the aid of a 4-1/2" cutoff disk and a sawzall. Installation is much easier with two people. See attached pics for actual material removed, note the lower fascia need not be cut for the hitch to fit through the hole. Maybe more work to install than the Curt hitch, but well worth the additional ground clearance.

After struggling with the answering menu, Steve Z. was instrumental in locating a hitch to fit my van which was not specifically identified in any data search. Weird year, 2005, of popular Chevy Express van, my luck! Using manufacturers dimensions I purchased #31016 on 12/21 and it arrived on 12/24. It's a very well built, USA built, unit. It arrived rapidly, but was missing half of the mounting hardware. The remainder of the hardware was rolling around in the box. Zip lock baggie ripped apart spilling them. I used a hydraulic jack to elevate hitch into place, and an additional jack to push the drill up to drill the 6 mounting holes necessary. No factory hole alignment. All the nuts for the bolts were lost in transit, but by a Christmas day miracle, I found 2 metric nuts to fit supplied bolts that survived the delivery. I will acquire, and install remaining missing 4 tomorrow. The installation went smooth and easy using this technique. It took around 3 hours with much of the time searching for hardware.' Thanks Steve Z. and etrailer. .
The product works great. However, I was told that this front hitch receiver would bolt to existing holes on my 98 Four winds RV. That was not true, so installation was double the cost of what was estimated by the shop I took it to.

GREAT PRODUCT AND GREAT FIT!
The front hitch solved a storage problem that I was having with my truck camper. It fit perfectly. I added a Stow Away hitch frame and a UWS small aluminum storage box for my small generator. The photo shows a test fit before installation.

This worked great on my F350 dually. We needed a front hitch to carry bikes while towing a 5th wheel camper. Instructions were easy to follow
This appears to be a great receiver hitch! The first one arrived bent because UPS employees threw or dropped it. e Trailer was fabulous in getting another one out ASAP. Assembly and fit was great as well. The only recommendation I would make would be to provide a template with measurements to cut the front rubber air damn to ensure a factory finish.

This front-mount hitch works great for putting travel trailer into tight RV Garage (West Coast Metal Building). I don't have a straight shot into the garage, and trying to back the trailer into the garage is do-able but takes many, many tries. This hitch makes it easy to maneuver the trailer while facing forward in the truck. Since the front hitch receiver is relatively low to the ground, I needed to get a high-rise ball mount. The riser part of this interferes a little but with the truck's under-bumper flexible fascia, but does not damage it. I also purchased a 2" black rubber hitch receiver cover (plug) to keep water out of the receiver. One thing - be careful when pulling up to parking lot curbs. Ground clearance of this hitch is relatively low and I have hit a couple of curbs with it. Thankfully the hitch itself and the mounting points on my Ram 1500 are very strong, and no damage was done other than mangling the rubber hitch receiver cover a bit. Note: I built a wood frame to support the hitch during installation, since I did not have a helper to hold it while installing the attachment bolts.
This front hitch receiver for my 2016 RAM 1500 works great! The installers did not have to cut the facia under the nose of the truck. The hitch fits tight against the facia, but no cutting needed. They did have to drill some holes, but I used professional installers, so I'm not worried. This finally solves my problem of not having anywhere to mount my two bikes while towing my 23' camper. The options for camper bike racks don't work for us for several reasons. Glad I can take my bikes with me on my Saris rack. I purchased an adapter and pin to allow my 1 1/4" bike rack to fit in the 2" receiver. I also purchased the hitch receiver cover separately.

This product DOES NOT fit a Ram Rebel as described in this answer: Significant modification of the hitch and/or bumper valance panels is necessary to get it to fit. Please update the answer linked above.
I Installed a Draw-Tite front mount hitch on a 2019 Ram 1500, Big Horn, Gen 5 (not classic). The hitch tube comes to 1/2" below the front bumper and is set back under the top edge of the bumper/airdam. The cutout in the airdam started 3/4" from the top edge and about 3" long and stopped right before the bottom curve and cut 3" wide. This fit with about 1/16" clearance on each side and top to bottom was perfect with no visible gap. I used a Dremel Oscillating Cutting Tool with a flat blade to cut the hole in the airdam and to cut out the notch in both of the airdam supports. Using a razor knife to cut the hole would be very difficult. My install time was about 3+ hours (no lift) lying on my back and the hardest thing was getting 2 of the mounting bolts torqued to 115 ft. pounds. This also required 2 people to install the hitch and reinstall the OEM Splitter. I do not have OEM tow hooks, so I don't know if the hitch would work with them installed. I purchased a MaxxTow Tow Strap Loop for 2" Trailer Hitches - 10,000 lbs - MT70029 to use as a pull point for my tow strap. etrailer was very fast with shipping, 3 days, 5*****.

UPS was 8 days late for no good reason though it looks like they used the hitch as a crash test dummy. It’s a miracle the hardware bag made it but it did! I think this is superior than the other brands available. They always include these little threaded fish tape wires for getting the hardware into the frame. I’ve done a transit and now this. Saves a ton of time/headache. However the instructions just have a diagram. Took me about 20 min to get the first bolt in. Then 20 min for the rest of the install. So if you read this, you can probably get the whole thing done in 30 or so which is what i expected initially. Tools: 3/4” socket Torque wrench 1/2” drill bit & drill OPTIONAL: floor jack to lift hitch into place. Steps: - Drill forward holes to 1/2” and shoot with some rustoleum or equivalent paint. Let dry for 20 min while you eat lunch, take a dump, whatever. - send fish tape through forward mount hole and out front of frame rail. Figuring this is what slowed me down on the first one. the carriage bolt head won’t fit through any of the obvious openings. See pic. - put to bolt plate onto the fish wire then thread the bolt onto the wire. Pull em all through the hole and watch it assemble right before your eyes! - repeat on the other 3 bolts - jack hitch into place and finger tighten the washers/nuts on - torque down to 75ftlbs and boom! time to yank or be yanked! See all my pics and if this helps, send me an imaginary beer through the quantum field! Econolines rule!
I tried ordering this exact hitch off Amazon. Not once, but twice they shipped the wrong part number. Took a couple months to get my money back. Etrailer got it right the first time. I took about an hour to install on my 2006 class B+ E 450 motor home. The best advice I can give is take the 15 minutes to remove the front bumper (21 mm). With front bumper removed you won't need the wire chaser things. Jus stick your hand in the frame.

Mounting went well, video direction were accurate.
Overall, my experience with etrailer was good. There was an initial delay in shipping, but once I talked to someone, everything went well. The help page was invaluable. The biggest help was the installation video. While there are slight differences between the 2011 GMC and the 2013, the process was the same. I am very pleased with the product and the support. We chose the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver so we could safely transport our RAD electric bikes while also pulling our travel trailer. We had it professionally installed onto the front of our Toyota Tundra and it has worked out very well! We are very pleased, and glad that we have it!
Shipping was fast and packaged good with no scratches. I modified my 2010 Tundra skid pan for oil filter changes before mounting. Replaced all 4 OEM tow ring bolts using anti-seize with new longer M12-1.25 X 40MM class 10.9 zinc finished hex cap screws along with new M12 X 24MM OD HARD WASHERS and torqued all 4 to 79 ft/lbs. Mounted new Thule EasyFold XT 2 Hitch Bike Rack and it fits in front without using the hitch extension. All went together as planned and can now take E-Bikes with us while pulling our camper. We are happy campers!
