Best 2015 Jeep Wrangler Roof Racks

First, the package arrived without the correct allen key necessary to mount the rack. That's on Rhino, note etrailer, but frustrating nonetheless. I called Customer Service on Saturday and they were very apologetic and expedited an order for the correct key which I received on the 3rd business day. The rack came without mounting instructions; no big deal as long as you're comfortable finding instructions on the web. The instructions will have you mount the front bar in the center of Jeep Wrangler freedom panels, meaning that if you want to remove the panels, you would have to remove the front rack first. If you move the front rack (shorter) to the rear of the Jeep's roof and mount it approximately 7" from the end of the rain gutters you eliminate this problem of removing the freedom panels. Overall installation was easy and the roof rack looks terrific on my Jeep Wrangler.

My Rhino-Rack arrived today, two days early, although the shipping box had been deliberately cut and taped, all parts were surprisingly still in tact. Instructions for assembly were very easy to follow and went together quickly. It fit perfectly on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. I'm not sure it was worth the price but I would recommend it to anyone wanting to haul a kayak on top of the roof.

roof racks showed up in great condition, and showed up as one package.... I should have ordered the J racks from here but I found them cheaper locally so Thule J racks compliment the whole setup and i am just about ready to hit the water :)

2018 Jeep Wrangler unlimited JK Altitude. Ordered my Rhino-rack Sg with Aero Crossbars, Rhino-rack Roof Basket and a cargo net on a Sunday afternoon got an email Monday morning that my stuff shipped! Free delivery that showed up in 3 days!!! Can't beat it. The crossbars with the Control Towers and LandingPad 9 fit perfectly on my Honda Element. Had them installed in about 30 mins. Don't have my cargo box yet and wanted to test strength, so I had my 110lb wife standing on them with no issues (yes, the car was parked). Plan to take a long camping trip next week with a cargo box on top...wife will be in the vehicle:-)

Got my bars in today. Was able to install within 30 mins on my Jeep Wrangler 4XE with a SOT top.

This rack works perfectly on my Nissan Versa for carrying my two Perception Sound 9'6" kayaks. The Rhino-Racks look good to me. The kayaks can rest directly on the rubber pads on the rails, unlike the Yakama racks I had in the past that had bare pipe rails. Also, I expect I can buy parts to adapt this product to a different car without having to buy new towers. I am sorry there are not hooks or loops to attach bungees when carrying lumber. They are noisy in the wind, but less so when carrying the kayaks.

Thanks to etrailer, I am ready to do some serious summer exploring with my 2013 Mazda 3! Rhino Racks, Malone top box, and Kuat bike rack!

Please see my review of Thule risers this Fit Kit was used with, as well as, Flint Hill basket. Same pic below as there. Weakest element of this item are the clips that fit into slots to secure it to - whatever - in my case, a Retrax Pro, manual Tonneau cover on the bed if my truck. See pic. Hard to visualize appropriate, secure placement. Seem to be working, but major test to come.

Beware of purchases from Etrailer...they offer no returns on opened products. So might say well you could just use and return it...true, but in this case the wind noise is horrific on my Jeep Wrangler and made a two hour ride nearly unbearable. The Thule product is clamps well, although I would prefer to see more paint protection the outer clamps.

These tracks were easy to install on my Leer cap with two people. The Tracker ii system works perfectly and I am able to haul all of my surfboards, Thule box and roof top tent thanks to the tracks.

The Thule Top Track Roof Rack has performed well.

First off - excellent customer service! I called to ask about some parts and I received a “live” person in seconds. No phone button death loop, just a quick response. The assistant was helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. Now for the other part - The 8” Rhino roof rack for our sky-touch wrangler jeep, worked excellent! Easy to assemble, great finish. I would highly recommend their Etrailer and their products. On the Big Island of Hawaii, these racks will get some use for sure! Mahalo!

The folks at etrailer made it easy for me to get the right rack and crossbars for my Jeep. I have a skytop so the rack had to be tall enough to clear the top as it opens and closes (accordion style). The customer service person who helped me recommended the rack legs with the right amount of clearance and the right size cross bars. The website had photos of other Wrangler Unlimited owners with the rack installed on the same type of top. The video of installation was clear and thorough. No problems with the rack at all; still tight and flush on the gutter, no wind noise with the rubber inserts, doesn't look all weathered and beaten after a New England winter either. The boat on the rack only weighs about 45 pounds but the rack can easily handle double that or more.

very solid rack, it's not going anywhere. Several fasteners to affix to truck cap. Clean look for the First Gen Tacoma (1999).

This is the second vehicle now that I've put the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar roof rack kit on. The instructions aren't too hard to follow with basic assembly knowledge and etrailer has a video tutorial for installation instruction which helped also. I didn't realize the allen wrench they provided also doubles as the security bolt bit you'll need when installing the brackets into the tracks so I just picked one up at the local hardware store. It's a great value for this product and I never had issues with my last kit and don't anticipate any with this one.

Custom built a mixed Rhino-Rack and Thule bike carrier. Started with the RTC tracks, added Rhino-Rack crossbars, then Thule bike carriers. Customer support was very helpful in getting compatible parts. Took some ingenuity on my part, too, but I love the way it turned out!

I purchased this rack system for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Willy's Wheeler edition - 2 door! There are lots of products out there that are listed for the 4 door but the two door model is more difficult to shop for. The racks shipped immediately and were here in just a few days. All the parts were there, properly labeled and provided with clear instructions. To properly fit my small roof, I took the two roof rails to a local machine shop and had them cut them to exactly 35.5". This allowed me to mount the tracks in the outermost groove on the roof and gave me the greatest possible length. One problem that I had (and had predicted) is that the inside of the Jeep roof has a lip on the inside that interferes with the provided knobs seating properly against the inside of the roof. The local hardware store had no nuts (NOTHING) that would fit the threads of the provided T-Bolts. I ended up temporarily using solid metal spacers to fill the gap and allow me to tighten the provided knobs against the spacer which is against a rubber gasket and then the inner roof! It worked! In the meantime, I will continue to search for some safety nuts that will fit the Rhino provided T-Bolts. The rack looks great, is solid as a rock and easy to put on and remove! Now I can comfortably carry our kayaks and/or paddle boards to the lake!

Great seller. Excellent communication and fast shipment. Product is as described, and all the parts were included for a great install. I installed myself. I'm fairly handy, and i thought it was easy to install alone on a fiberglass Snugtop. Took about 2.5 hours. I followed the instructions included plus I used a seamstress tape measure, drill, brad-point bit, wrench for tightening fasteners, shopvac. Great looking rack.
