I looked at so many options before deciding on the B&W hitch, but I have no regrets buying it. There is nothing that my car is suitable for towing that this thing can’t accommodate. I even use it on the front hitch of my mower to move trailers around the yard! Adjusts very easily and stows nicely (though on my Ford Edge it rides lower than I like when stowed).

Perfect . My new Subaru hitch has a flat plate to which the dealership attaché the 4-flat. I used “2 L-brackets” to accommodate the 90 degree bend of the adapter bracket.

I recently had a receiver hitch installed on my 89 Silverado and the wiring was merely zip tied to the safety chain connection. Well that didn't sit well with me. I wanted a more permanent wiring connection point. So I purchased your 4 flat to 4 flat and 7 way plug and installed it. So far so good. The installation turned out perfect and it looks good. The test lights are a great thing as well. I couldn't be happier.

Everything I have ordered from etrailer has been quality products. I especially like the installation videos which are a great help. It's great they give you frequent updates by e-mail about the status of your order and shipping has been really fast.

Worked out pretty good. Had a hard time figuring out just how to attach it. I ended up just zip tieing it. It was a life saver that I could pull the rear plug apart. Made it possible to slide part of the harness thought a tight hole.

I added it to my trailer, so when in camp I could have the running lights on without the truck.

It works, it doesn’t have indicator lights so it doesn’t make my Rivian think I’m towing unless I actually am. The cap is difficult to remove as it’s recessed into the unit, overall it does the job.

Installed and tested and seems to work perfectly. To be perfectly honest, my vehicle was NOT on the list of those that this part will fit. But I saw on another post elsewhere that someone had had success with this and I thought it was worth the gamble. I just installed this myself in about 20 minutes, thanks to a YouTube video. The dealer is quoting 70 bucks for this part plus installation which I heard can be as much as $200 more. I just did it myself in 20 minutes for $18. Thank you so much. Check out my pics.

Packaged very well and delivered when expected. No defects noted with this products condition. I have not mounted the connector on the truck yet or operationally tested it but there's nothing to lead me to believe that it wouldn't perform as advertised.

My '92 GMC Sierra had a 6-pin trailer harness connector and I'm going to be pulling a pop-up camper in a few weeks that has a 7-pin connector. I originally ordered a 47435 6-Pole to 7-Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter. After thinking about it for a day I changed my mind and ordered a HM48470 Hopkins Endurance Multi-tow 7-way, 5 & 4-wire Flat Connector to mount in the bumper and a HM47570 Hopkins Endurance Multi-tow Connect Adapter - 7-way To 6-way, 5-way and 4-way. The HM48470 will allow me to pull the pop-up as well as giving me the 4-wire flat connector that I need for my boat trailer. I bought the HM47570 adapter just to cover all the trailer wiring needs I might run into. I really like the fact that the 47570 adapter has the quick change plug to cover both wiring arrangements for 6-pin trailer connectors. I placed the original order Saturday evening and the second order Sunday afternoon. Monday morning, I called etrailer.com to try to cancel the first order and was told that both orders were already boxed and on the way the shipper. I had no idea that they had people there to pull and box orders on the weekend. I asked about returning the first order when it arrived and was told by Helen M that it would be no problem at all. I have been extremely pleased with my purchase experience with etrailer.com. Everyone I spoke with there was very knowledgeable and I will not hesitate to go directly to them for my trailer and towing needs in the future.

I needed an adapter for my electrical towing harness so the that I could use a 5-Way connector on my 7-WAY plug. On line, I found and ordered Item No. HM47570 "HOPKINS ENDURANCE MULTI-TOW CONNECTOR ADAPTER - 7-WAY to 6-WAY, 5-WAY or 4-WAY." When I received the product, I was really stoked, it was exactly what I needed and what I had been looking for! I tried it on for "size" as you might say and it's going to work like a charm. I will send some photos later when I'm done with the installation! No time right now. . this coming weekend! Looks well made and what I like most and why I bought this one was because of the newer style plug that comes in it. I have yet to test it out but I got it wired up.

Well, my first impression of this item is it is very sturdy and will be a great addition to my trailer.

Installation went well and works fine. Only issue was the screws included with the product were not the right ones so had to replace which wasn't a big deal.

Works as stated, just plug in to7 pin connection on car, and plug 4 pin to trailer. Nice feature w/ led lights to check if connection is good

Would be a good product if it were compatible with my Rivian R1T. The truck detects the draw of the indicator lights and insists on staying in trailer mode. I had to buy one without lights. I may or may not have used the compatibility feature of your website but you should be sure that it is set to not recommend this product to Rivian owners

It served its purpose to convert 4 connection to 7 connection to make it compatible with Toyota 7 connection set up diagram which is different than many American or other 7 point connection. Thank you E-Trailer . 5 stars and it's working just fine 1 year out from installing.

Used to make a test lead when trouble shooting new GM trailer brake controller and kept as spare.

I do not recommend this product. I bought this for my truck. It seems to be the nicest looking plug on the market but after the first rain, the plug was filled with water. I changed the location from the hitch to the bumper and once again the plug was filled with water after it rained. This condition will obviously lead to terminals corroding and/or wires being shorted out. I have bought a different style plug, unfortunately the same brand but hopefully I will have better luck. May be able to drill a small drain hole in the casing to allow water to escape but shouldn't have to do this on a new product.

I bought this socket for my 2006 Volvo Xc90 to wire in the 4-Pole harness I also purchased from etrailer. Already had a few 7 Blade to 4-Pole adapters from my previous vehicle, and wanted the option of adding a trailer brake wire for a small camper later on so that was the main reason for the purchase. It also went very well with the Hidden Hitch I had already installed, bracket mounted right up to the existing tabs on the hitch. Super quick and easy install, as all of my etrailer purchases have been. Looks great on the truck, and functions great with the 180 Degree cover.

The quality of the materials for this wire connector is very high, especially the insulation on the wires. One thing to note is the wire colors do not match the standard colors associated with this style of 7-Way plug. Definitely use a continuity tester to determine which wire goes to which blade in the plug. Other than that, this is a good product for the price.

I received a 5' cable, not a 6' one. Which really upsets me as it pretty much means I can not use the EZ Connector Pogo Trailer Cable Holder I also purchased to hold the cable up out of the way of the pivoting hitch. Other then that, the connector is molded on, so that is good.

The plug is different from original cord. Doesn’t look as good but we’ll see how it works. 1st new cord

It's a bundle of wires with a plug. Hard to make this type of part special above other brands. Price is the big factor. Not quite sure why this one is 50% less cost than some others. But works as expected. Solved the dreaded taillights blinking while traveling on the road.

Works great as an adapter. I used it to convert a truck camper electrical harness to a Lance camper receptacle.

Hooked up only 12 volt for charging the battery on my dump trailer. Works fine.

Should come with the 7-pin mount for the vehicle. Hence the 4-star review. Part is well designed and fairly easy to install.

I ordered this wiring kit for a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 I recently acquired. The Ram was not tow ready but did have a factory 4-way. I also ordered hitch #13333. The wiring kit is very high quality and was easy to install. The 7-way fit perfectly where the factory 7-way would have gone. I'm using a Tekonsha Prodigy RF wireless brake controller so the blue lead was not needed but I left some extra should that change. Thanks etrailer!

This is the second 7 pin molded plugs that I have purchased from you...The wiring is NOT standard,the color coding of the wires are inconsistent with American standards. You have to be an electrician to figure out how to wire it to the trailer. Clearly have purchased these from color blind Chinese contractors. It was a mess !

I had to replace the old 7 wire cable because the male plug had been pulled off. I chose the WH54006-043 coiled cable. I used a 1/2 inch clamp to hold the cable up at the box and a Connect-to-Protect to hold up the male plug. The result Is clean and tidy. Thank you,

Good product and install instructions. The only complaint is the 4 pin connector falls out of the housing.

Exactly what I was looking for. Easily connected to my existing 4-way without any additional wiring. The 7-way adapter bracket was the correct size, and the holes were pre-drilled for the right fit to connect to the existing bracket on the (U-Haul Installed) tow bar.

The bargman 7 way moulded trailer end is a high quality unit. I have been using it for a year now and it has performed flawlessly. The sturdy moulded plug ensures no moisture can get inside. Both the insulation of the individual wires and also the outer sheath are made of silicone and remain flexible even at canadian winter temperatures. There is just one way I think the unit could be improved. The outer blue silicone coating is thin, and not very abrasion resistant. If it contacts the grouns at all, it will quickly wear through. Just a little thicker sheath would be nice. Overall I am very happy with my purchase, and would certainly purchase again
