TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade for Upper Overload Springs
I don't really do reviews very often, but these things work extremely well, especially when you consider that they only take a few minutes to install and they are only blocks of rubber that are held in place by one bolt! I sprayed my factory stops down with WD-40 and pulled them out with some long needle-nose pliers wedged on both sides of the stop, between the frame and the rubber. I then glanced at the directions, figured out the stack-up I needed and installed them in less than 10 minutes! I'm not kidding! The best part is they work! They close the gap between the frame stops and the upper helper spring, engaging the spring right off the bat. I have an F350 dually with a Grey Wolf 840 that weighs 2400 ish pounds, and I haul a car trailer with a total weight of 6000 pounds behind that! These worked so well, I was amazed! These are the only suspension enhancement of this truck, too! You might need something more if you are hauling a very large camper or 5th wheel, but for me, this is all I am going to use!
Just installed the upper stableLoads on my 2021 F350 dually. It was an easy job. I used long needle nose pliers to wedge underneath the factory bump sticks. Then just leveraged them out. The ride of the truck is a little rougher with no payload. Planning on loading my northern lite 10.2 truck camper on in a few weeks. I believe this will improve the ride.

TorkLift StableLoad Rear Suspension Upgrade with Quick-Disconnects - Lower Overload Springs
UPS delivered with packaging intact. L & R Wedges are wrapped separately and labeled. Hardware was contained in a sealed bag. 2 pieces were damaged, easily replaced at the hardware store. Instructions were reasonably clear, but there is room for improvement there. Installation : Installation was on a 2018 Chevy Colorado and straight forward. There is the option of installing the units inboard or outboard. Inboard installation on the Colorado would have resulted in insufficient clearance between the spare tire on the rear units, and the fuel tank on the front. Outboard installation resulted in minimal clearance with the mud flaps on the rear, and contact with the brake line and supporting bracket on the left front. Some backyard engineering with waterpump pliers was required to create adequate clearance. Use: Engaging the wedges is not possible with weight on the axle. The truck must be jacked up enough to unload the springs before rotating the wedges into position. I haven't had a chance to load up the truck and hook up the trailer. I'll provide follow-up when I do.
Installed StableLoads on a 2017 Ram 3500 dually that carries a 4500lb (wet) truck camper and pulls a 24' enclosed car trailer. The StableLoads are easy to engage/disengage depending on load, and have none of the issues common with airbags. In combination with a Hellwig BigWig sway bar, the truck rides well and handles well, even with the high center of gravity with the camper.

TorkLift StableLoad Rear Suspension Upgrade w Quick-Disconnects - Lower Overload Springs - Universal
Having been in the auto/truck repair business for over 50 years, I thought this would be a good Idea so I tried it. I could have made my own but it would be a lot of cutting and drilling because it is so many pieces. I used it to add capacity so I could haul my camper that I purchased three states away and had to pick up. I used 2 of the 3 plates because there wasn’t enough room for three. It did very well like that but after I got back I added the 3rd plate figuring I could use the third one by just jacking the truck slightly before engaging. I thought all three woul be needed once the camper was full of water and gear. I am enclosing a picture of how ti drill the springs with using the vehicles own drill press (screw jack) for changing tires. I still need to test fully loaded and with all three plates in place.
This is the best towing improvement item I have ever purchased. We purchased a new 2018 Ford F-250 super-crew with the 6.2 gas and had our load leveling, anti-sway hitch professionally installed to tow our 2016 28' travel trailer. We towed the trailer for 1550 miles on numerous trips and it was very uncomfortable. At first I thought it was trailer sway, but soon realized it was the truck trying to point left or right or bouncing up and down every time we hit a dip or bump in the road, no matter how slight. It was truly white knuckle driving. I searched for the problem and solutions and decided to try the TorkLift StableLoad system. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. We could tell within a few blocks from home the truck felt much more stable and on the highway it was like a different truck and trailer. We just towed the trailer 856 miles and it was an incredibly easy and relaxing drive. I love that I can engage or disengage the devices so we don't have a stiff ride when not towing. If I ever install one again I will have someone else drill the spring leafs or at least rent the tool from the manufacturer. I ruined the 2 drills they sent almost immediately by not using enough pressure and using too much drill speed. Once I realized what I was doing wrong I was able to drill the holes using a floor jack to apply pressure as others have described and drilling at the slowest speed possible. Once the holes were drilled it was very easy to assemble and install the StableLoads.

Adding the Tork Lift stable load suspension really helped my truck from sagging when I load up the in-bed camper. The ride is smooth and the truck handles very well. The installation was generally easy and the instructions were spot on. I highly recommend these if you want a stable ride and no sagging.
Performing as designed. Reduced sway and porpoise. Tip from Etrailer staff: had to use a small crowbar to spread the leaf springs during installation.

SuperSprings SuperSway Stops - Qty 4
Install is super easy and quick. Took about 30 min total for install. I can tell some thought went into this products design by the way the SuperSway Stops fit the factory bump stop perch cradle and how they contact the springs, unlike the competitors overpriced option. I’m hauling a 3300 pound (dry) camper in a 2022 F350 CCLB DRW with camper package. Factory upper overload bump stops weren’t engaging soon enough causing some sway and sagging about an inch over the rear tires. After installing the SuperSway Stops the bump stops now engage taking most of away and rocking out. I also gained 1.5 inch in height over rear tires so truck now sits higher in back. These are the only suspension upgrades I’ve done. I would highly recommend.
Almost perfect. There is no way to locate the pad from front to back to keep it even as you tighten them. OE pads had wrap around ears to keep them in place. First time I tightened them, they all moved a little either front or back. I jacked each side back up and re located them even, and probably over tightened them to deform them to stay in place. Have no moved since. Also, the washers you supplied were not large enough in diameter and not thick enough. They deformed and pulled through bolt hole, making them move. I went to Lowe’s and got bigger and thicker washers for second tightening and they worked fine.

A bit of a task drilling out the spring on my 2017 f-250.. Used a cordless drill and a floor jack. i had to drill pilot holes and use a few of my own drill bits to finish all four holes. The rest of the installation was easy. I Like the product, seems like it should work, Trying to avoid air bag if possible, Ordered a new truck camper from Northstar, but wont take delivery until late april..then i`ll put them to the test.
My review is specific to the Stable Loads for my 2014 Ram 3500 SRW 4x4 Diesel Pickup truck. First, the package arrived a day ahead of the delivery schedule. Inventory of the kit showed it was complete and matched the list of contents included. The overall impression was that this is a very well made and manufactured system. The stainless steel option seems to be well worth the small added cost. The instructions from TorkLift are a little vague in places so here are a couple of pointers. First, I needed more spacer washers than were provided with the kit due to the thickness of the lower spring. I was short a total of 4 washers. It seems like this is a simple detail that others should have made TorkLift aware of. Surprisingly, I found no mention of this on-line or in videos. Another vague area is regarding the orientation of the bracket on the spring pack itself. on my truck, I needed to install the stable load to the inside - between the frame and the spring. I tried to install the rear stable load to the outside (tire side) but found that even with stock size tires, the clearance was too close for my comfort (less that 1 inch between the bracket and the tire sidewall. On my truck, there is a wiring harness along the bottom of the frame at the rear drivers side that had to be adjusted closer to the frame to provide clearance for the bracket. Otherwise, all 3 of the other mounting locations had adequate room for the inside mounting location. Also, for my truck, using two of the three wedges provided the right thickness for proper engagement. Another note is that for my Ram, I did not have to drill out the springs because the rubber pad is installed into a hole on the overload spring. The hole is slightly larger that the diameter of the mounting bolt. This did not seem to affect the installation but again, it seems a bushing of some sort would be a good addition to the kit. Installation time was a bit longer that what I have seen mentioned by others but still, a few hours and it was ready for a test drive. With the stable loads engaged, the empty ride is a bit stiffer that stock but not objectionable. The real test will be with the 3000lb+ camper installed. That review will have to wait. E Trailer was great to order from and had the best price I could find on-line. This is the 4th or 5th time I have ordered from E Trailer and have never been disappointed.
