Most Popular Class IV for 2003 Toyota Tacoma

I like it. I have a few thousand miles on it by now pulling a 2015 MINI on a uhaul auto transport trailer with a 2020 Tacoma and I think it helps keep a smooth ride. I’ve pulled with it from Phoenix to Seattle and back, and recently from Phoenix to Lewes Delaware. Before my first trip with the hitch I got into a lengthy debate over whether or not I had wasted my money on the entire concept of this hitch or not. The first time I pulled an empty trailer with it, I thought maybe I had fallen for a slick pitch because it wasn’t all too different than any other trip with a trailer bouncing around behind me. I pulled the trailer around my neighborhood on streets that I knew for a few laps around the block, then switched hitches back to my old solid one and did the same route and there was indeed a difference with this hitch. It won’t make the bumps and tugs disappear but it will noticeably mute them. Along all of my tows there have been stretches of road where I have thought to myself I’m glad I have this hitch and wonder how much worse the ride would have been without it. The trailer I use has surge braking and there was a concern that the horizontal movement of the hitch could trigger the brake but I haven’t noticed that to be an issue. I recommend the product but if you don’t buy this hitch, use etrailer for whatever you do buy. THE BEST service, fast shipping, great communication, I appreciate this site so much. Great hitch just what we needed for our Toyota Tacoma we tow two different height trailers and this hitch changes in seconds. Shipping was faster than expected

Sooooo....you sent me a product that was somehow put together backwards and I cannot take them apart somehow the ballhitch is stuck on the male portion backwards and defies gravity and doesn’t need a pin to stay on(becaue thier is no where to put the pin in cause it’s backwards

Required a bit of gentle sanding to fit into my receiver. I hated to scuff up the mirror finish. Looks great on my lifted Tacoma. The locking mechanism & reversible slide ball and no rattle design is genius. 4 keys, I like that too. I wish more things were built this way.

Love the design with no locking through pins to worry about. Only reason for three stars is I received the product with cosmetic damage from being dropped.

I’m pleased with the product and how prompt the delivery was. However the packaging was insufficient and the packaging was torn open all over. Scuffing of the finish is a result and of little consequence due to the intended use. It’s a stinger w/ball for motorhome. May I suggest better packaging in the future

I like the extra long length. No one else make a hitch this long.

I own and tow three trailers with three different ball sizes so this is a cure all. This is a perfect match for my Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. I like how it stores up out of the way. No more skinned legs from bumping it. Pro: Nice looking, durable, heavy duty, pamphlet with it including some white grease for the pins, easy to fill out on-line warranty. Etrailer was fast shipping and kept me informed about a delivery date. Con: None

A great product that works as advertised. My 19 Tacoma still has 10" of ground clearance and 8" when using the 2" ball fully dropped, all of this is without a load.

Picked up my teardrop in ABQ on 2/17/23, and the Curt ball mount lined up perfectly with no drop/rise, and the extra length gave clearance for my rear door mounted spare tire. This mount is a beast, and the "overbuilt" nature of it gave me confidence that my Bronco would tow the teardrop easily. I also got the Curt Echo wireless brake controller, which synced easily to my phone and was easy to install, set up, and use. Overall a great towing experience, thanks to etrailer and Curt!

Ordered this because it was one of the few 10K rated 10in drop hitches. I am totally happy I did. Construction and fit were great and it worked great w/ my 2 and 5/16 ball to pull my horse trailer.

Very strong, easy to install and very secure. Yes a bit pricey, but well worth the money. I did notice there was what I thought was an unusual amount of play in the receiver. I called etrailer and Marcia was so very helpful and very concerned that I may have received the wrong product. She even called the manufacturer and found out what the changes that were made by the manufacturer which made the pictures incorrect. My hat is off to Marcia and all the folks at etrailer
